Wesley Sharp booked after walking around drunk in Downtown Nashville

20-year-old Wesley Sharp was seen publicly intoxicated while near 2nd Avenue North and Church Street on August 25th. Officers were dispatched for a separate incident, and when they arrived, they spoke with Sharp. However, while talking with him, officers noticed Sharp had watery eyes and slurred speech.

When asked how old he was, Sharp admitted to officers that he was only 20. Officers then asked how long Sharp had been drinking, to which he replied he had only been drinking for about 30 minutes. Sharp was then deemed intoxicated and taken into custody for public intoxication and alcohol consumption under 21.

Wesley C. Sharp of Lillian Street in Nashville, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on August 25th, charged with consumption of alcohol while underage and public intoxication. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $1,000, and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office gave him pre-trial release from their facility.
