32-year-old Eric Cunningham was involved in a domestic altercation with his ex-girlfriend, Alyssa Perry, on Westchester Drive on August 29th. When officers arrived at The Paddock at Grandview Apartments due to reports of a domestic disturbance, they made contact with Cunningham and Perry. Perry agreed to transport Cunningham to a residence on Westchester Drive while officers followed them from behind. While Perry was driving, officers observed her swerve out of her lane and then come to a complete stop in the middle of the road. Perry then jumped out of her car, yelling to arrest Cunningham.

Perry, as well as the person she was on the phone with, Kimani Jones, told officers that they heard Cunningham say he was going to shoot her up. Perry also alleged that Cunningham pulled her by her hair, but officers didn’t observe any injuries or evidence of that. When officers spoke with Cunningham, he stated that he was “just talking sh*t” but that nothing physical occurred. Cunningham was then taken into custody for domestic assault.

Eric L. Cunningham of Nashville, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on August 29th, charged with domestic assault. He is free on a $1,000 bond.
