24-year-old “Jah Jah” was on a bench with a glass pipe at Public Square Park around 2:30 p.m. on August 29th. Patrolling officers observed the male, who identified himself only as “Jah Jah,” and approached him. During their interaction, officers noticed an unknown crystal substance inside the pipe. The police found a similar substance inside a folded paper in Jah’s possession. Initially, officers were going to cite him for the occurrence.
However, due to him being uncooperative and providing false identification, they detained him. DCSO deputies could not find any identification for him because it was possibly his first time being arrested. “Jah Jah” was taken into custody for the unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and criminal impersonation.
Jah Jah was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on August 29th, charged with criminal impersonation and drug paraphernalia. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $2,000.
