Kheilan Packer drunkenly threatens officers at Lavou Lounge, says she is going to “Hang the police”

33-year-old Kheilan Packer was publicly intoxicated while at the Lavou Lounge on Antioch Pike on August 30th. When the officers arrived, they observed Packer crying and acting hostile. Packer was yelling and screaming at the officers from inside her vehicle. However, the key fob was not in the car. Officers noticed Packer fumbling with her phone, and when asked to step out of the car, she agreed. However, she began stumbling as she tried to get out. Officers also noticed that Packer smelled strongly of alcohol, was slurring her speech, and made threatening remarks toward officers. At one point, Packer stated that she was going to “Hang the police.” The owner of the Lavou Lounge informed officers that Packer had intentionally damaged his sink in a prohibited area of the establishment. Packer was taken into custody, and while in the back of the police car, she started kicking, screaming, and spitting. Packer was eventually transported and charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

Ky’Lando Bratcher jailed after stealing alcoholic beverage from Circle K gas station

27-year-old Ky’Lando Rashod Bratcher stole from the 8th Avenue South Circle K Gas Station on the afternoon of August 27th. The store manager, Thavanga Wijethunga, flagged officers down. Wijethunga told police that a man, later identified as Bratcher, entered the store, grabbed an alcoholic beverage from the coolers, and placed it in his pocket before leaving. Wijethunga added that he had left in a Nissan Sentra. Officers identified Bratcher as the person in question after discovering he had previously been involved in a theft from the same store. Officers also learned he was the registered owner of a Nissan Sentra. After officers reviewed the incident surveillance, they confirmed Bratcher’s identity. Then, a warrant was issued for Bratcher’s arrest on August 28th. Bratcher was later taken into custody for theft on August 29th. 

DUI: Paul Wright crashes into multiple barriers on I-24 during overdose

46-year-old Paul Wright had a single-vehicle accident on I-24 West near Mile Marker 48.9 late August 4th. The police report stated that Wright crashed into the barrier on the right side of the interstate. Wright then accelerated across all four lanes before driving into the left barrier and stopping. Responding officers approached the vehicle and found Wright unresponsive with red eyes and dilated pupils in the driver’s seat. After officers gave him two doses of Narcan, he eventually became conscious. While searching Wright’s vehicle, officers found a cooler with Corona beer bottles within arm’s reach of the driver’s seat. Officers also found a small plastic bottle containing a white powdery substance in the center console with a straw near it. Wright was then transported to the hospital for further medical attention, where medics advised officers that he would be admitted for over three hours. Under Miranda, Wright admitted to drinking alcohol while fishing earlier in the day. When Wright was informed of implied consent, he refused to provide a chemical sample. Wright was cited for the occurrence that day. Wright was later booked on the citation for driving under the influence and an implied consent violation on August 27th.

Matthew Lapensee pushes over cash register, breaks multiple bottles of alcohol at Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk

34-year-old Matthew Lapensee was seen publicly intoxicated and acting disorderly while at Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk on Broadway on August 30th. When offices arrived on the scene, they were flagged down by Kid Rock’s employees. They explained that Lapensee pushed over the cashier register and broke about eight bottles of alcohol. Officers then spoke with Lapensee, who had dilated pupils, was profusely sweating, and had very erratic behavior. While speaking with officers, Lapensee admitted to consuming five alcoholic beverages. Lapensee was then deemed to be a danger to himself, and he was taken into custody for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

Kahit Moore booked after allowing minor to be served 12oz Michelob Ultra at Bootleggers

44-year-old Kahit Moore was caught allowing an underage person into Bootleggers on July 29th. An undercover 19-year-old working with the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission entered Bootleggers and presented Moore with her ID card. Moore was observed letting her in with no markings. The 19-year-old was then served a 12oz bottle of Michelob Ultra at the bar. Officers then cited him for the violation that day. Moore was later booked on the citation of alcohol sale to an underage person on August 27th.

Dylan Hampton resists arrest after arguing with employees at Mother’s Ruin

27-year-old Dylan Rance Hampton had an altercation with a security guard at Mother’s Ruin late August 29th. When officers arrived, they spoke with the location’s employees. The employees stated that Hampton refused to leave the property and had to be escorted out. They added that Hampton had a scuffle with an employee before leaving the scene. Then, the employees advised officers that Hampton returned by entering the back gate, which is not a public entrance. After this, the police located Hampton, who was inside arguing with other employees, and detained him. While arresting him, Hampton resisted by pulling his arms forward and telling officers he did not want his arms behind his back. Following a brief struggle, officers placed him in handcuffs and escorted him to the patrol car. As police escorted Hampton, he showed signs of impairment and dragged his feet. The employees at the business informed the police that they wanted to press charges for the occurrence. Hampton was taken into custody for resisting arrest, public intoxication, and criminal trespass on August 30th.

Yeniefer Lopez attempts to drive home from Planet Fitness while drunk

27-year-old Yeniefer Perez Lopez had an incident at the Nolensville Pike Planet Fitness in the early hours of August 29th. When officers arrived, they instructed Lopez to leave repeatedly. During their interaction, officers noticed he reeked of alcohol. As he was leaving, officers told Lopez not to drive away. However, he proceeded to get in his vehicle anyway. Officers deemed Lopez a danger to himself and detained him for the occurrence. Lopez was then taken into custody for public intoxication.

Ivan Martinez attempts to open patrol car, tells police he had “too much” to drink

23-year-old Ivan Martinez tried opening a marked patrol vehicle on Representative John Lewis Way South late August 29th. While officers were investigating a separate incident at a nearby establishment, they observed Martinez approach the car. Then, after Martinez attempted to open the rear passenger door, the police spoke with him. Officers noted that Martinez reeked of alcohol and asked him how much he had to drink. Martinez told officers he had drunk “Too much” before stating he was himself trying to walk home. However, he could not tell them where he would stay for the night and only provided them with his Illinois home address. Martinez was deemed unable to care for himself and was taken into custody for public intoxication on August 30th.

Jeremiah Martinez-Rembert crashes into car with motorcycle while racing his brother on Old Hickory Boulevard

18-year-old Jeremiah Martinez-Rembert was seen racing his brother, Kalib Gilbert, through red lights on Old Hickory Boulevard on August 10th. Officers arrived at the intersection of Old Hickory Boulevard and Lebanon Dirt Road in response to a car crash. Officers arrived and spoke with one of the involved parties, Joan Richman. She stated that she had gotten struck by a motorcycle when she had a green light to travel through the intersection. Officers then made contact with David Hollandsworth, who advised he was two vehicles behind the incident. He stated he watched the motorcycle travel through the red light and hit Richman’s car. Another witness, John Sanders, stated he was three cars behind the incident. He said he observed a silver sedan driven by Gilbert racing Rembert, who was on the motorcycle through red lights. Once officers made contact with Rembert, they cited him for the violation that day. Rembert was later booked on the citation of reckless driving on August 26th.
