Terrell Hamilton booked after repeatedly entering Greyhound Bus Station while drunk

42-year-old Terrell Hamilton was seen being held against a fence by security after refusing to leave the Greyhound Bus Station on Rep John Lewis Way South on September 11th. When officers arrived and observed this, security at Greyhound informed them that Hamilton refused to leave after he had walked inside intoxicated. Security stated that Hamilton had left and returned three times. They stated he did this despite being told multiple times that he was not welcome until he was sober. Officers observed that Hamilton had a strong odor of alcohol and that he was heavily slurring his words. Hamilton was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication and criminal trespassing.

Mohammed Ur Rahman hits wife & 4-year-old son with bat after she tells their kids “We should just take poison and kill ourselves”

39-year-old Mohammed Aijas Ur Rahman had a domestic disturbance with his wife and mother of his children, Aliyah Raeesa Taher, and their 4-year-old son at their Thistle Lane apartment on September 8th. On September 10th, Taher spoke with authorities and stated that she initially called them regarding a verbal dispute that got loud but never physical. However, while on the scene, Taher informed officers of an incident on September 8th. Taher went into detail, stating that she and Ur Rahman had returned home from the Opry Mills Mall. Taher explained that earlier that night, they argued about him disciplining their 4-year-old son by slapping him in the face.

She told the police that an hour later, she went upstairs with the children and said, “We should just take poison and kill ourselves,” referring to getting away from Ur Rahman’s alleged abuse. Then, Taher said that Ur Rahman heard her say that and ran up the stairs with a plastic bat. Ur Rahman then used the bat to strike their 4-year-old. She explained that when she tried to intervene and stop Ur Rahman, he swung the bat and hit her as well. Taher provided officers with photos showing her with dark bruising on her hand and their son with dark bruising on his upper left arm. When officers spoke with Ur Rahman, he stated he did not mean to hit Taher with the bat but intended to discipline their son. He admitted to being enraged when it happened and offered to locate the bat but could not find it. Taher informed the police that she did not wish to press charges. However, due to the injuries she and their child sustained, officers prosecuted on their behalf. Ur Rahman was taken into custody for domestic assault and child abuse on September 11th.

James Smith steals $980 worth of merchandise from Lowe’s across multiple incidents

78-year-old James Smith stole merchandise several times at the Nolensville Pike Lowe’s between June 1st and August 20th. Lowe’s asset protection employees told the police that an unknown male, later identified as Smith, entered the store and stole on six occasions. The stolen merchandise was valued at $980.22. During the investigation, detectives reviewed surveillance, which corroborated each theft. The footage showed Smith arriving and fleeing in the same vehicle each time. The police captured the car’s tags and discovered it was registered to Smith. After confirming Smith’s identity, officers obtained a warrant for his arrest on September 6th. Smith was later taken into custody for theft on September 10th.

Juan Guzman Barriga assaults partner of 6 years after turning off their power

30-year-old Juan Barriga was involved in a domestic altercation with his partner of six years, Saira Domingo, while at Patel Brothers Grocery store near Harding Place on September 5th. When officers arrived, they spoke with Domingo, who reported that Barriga had assaulted her. She informed officers that they had been together for six years and even had a child together. Domingo told the officers that when the power was turned off at her residence, she claimed to have called the power company. The power company informed her that Barriga had turned their power off the previous day. Domingo claimed she then confronted him regarding the power, which started an argument. Domingo then claimed that Barriga had pushed her out of the house, which caused her to fall on the gravel outside, causing injuries. Domingo showed officers her injuries, which included several scrapes, scratches, and bruises. Due to the statements made and the injuries shown, a warrant was issued that day. Barriga was later taken into custody for domestic assault on September 10th.

Eric Tyson indicted by Grand Jury for TennCare Fraud

The Davidson County Grand Jury has indicted 52-year-old Eric Michael Tyson for TennCare fraud and theft of services on November 1st, 2019. The indictment alleges that Tyson, between April 1st, 2018, and June 30th, 2019, before the finding of this indictment, did knowingly obtain medical assistance benefits or any assistance provided by TennCare to which he was not entitled or was of a greater value than that to which he was authorized and received certain services from TennCare valuing more than $2,500 but less than $10,000, through deception, fraud, coercion, or other means, with intent to avoid payment for the services. Tyson was taken into custody on September 10th, 2024.

Casimy St Phard kicks pregnant girlfriend multiple times in stomach & pours boiling water on her during argument

29-year-old Casimy St. Phard had a domestic incident with his pregnant girlfriend, Silfanise Julmeus, at their Brink Haven Apartment on September 10th. When officers arrived, they spoke with St. Phard, who stated that Julmeus was mad at him for talking to another girl. St. Phard then said that she threw hot water on him because of this. However, he only had a burn on his left arm and not anywhere else on his body, inconsistent with being splashed with hot water from a pot.

Officers then spoke with Julmeus, who told the police that she and St. Phard were arguing about paying a bill. She added that while she was cooking noodles on the stove, St. Phard came up from behind her and strangled her, causing her to fall to the floor. Julmeus said that St. Phard then poured the boiling water from the noodles on her and kicked her in the stomach five times. Julmeus added that he had always been mad about how she would not get an abortion. She stated that St. Phard had told her before that he would kill her and the baby if she did not get an abortion. After this, Julmeus was transported to Vanderbilt Hospital for a welfare check of her and her unborn baby. St. Phard was taken into custody for two counts of aggravated assault.

Eric Collins violates order of protection by following wife to Quality Inn & claiming she was cheating

53-year-old Eric Collins was caught after violating his order of protection by coming into contact with his wife, Kara Collins, at a Quality Inn on Conference Road on August 22nd. When the officers arrived at the scene, they spoke with Kara. She informed them that Eric had violated a no-contact order she had taken out against him. Kara stated that on the day in question, Eric sent her a text message containing a photo of the rear end of her vehicle parked in front of her room at the Quality Inn. Afterward, Kara went outside to her car and noticed that her Ohio license plate was missing. Eric had also sent several text messages referring to a man named Ross, claiming that he was in the room with Kara and that she was cheating on him.

Kara also mentioned that Eric was able to locate her vehicle through her Kia access account, which he was able to access. Despite their efforts, the officers could not obtain warrants as there was no record of Eric being served the order. On August 26th, the Secretary of State’s office in Tennessee contacted Kara, informing her that Eric had received and signed the Order of Protection through registered mail on August 1st. She was also informed that the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office had received the confirmation email from the USPS on August 5th. However, the system was never updated to reflect that Eric had been served. Due to Eric being served, a warrant was then issued, and he was taken into custody for violating the order of protection on September 10th.

Jacob Manning takes baby mama’s phone & assaults her during child exchange

33-year-old Jacob Marion Manning had a domestic altercation with his ex-girlfriend and mother of his child, Alexandria Wallace, on February 13th. Wallace told the police that she met with Manning to drop off their child per their custodial agreement. Then, she said, while getting their child out of their car seat, Manning grabbed her phone from the center console. Manning told her he would return her phone when she returned his. Wallace further explained that she had paid $1,300 for Manning’s phone and a ticket when they were together. Then, she attempted to grab her phone from Manning’s pocket. Which Manning responded to by putting his hands on her face and pushing her to the ground.

After this, Wallace said Manning went to the car to continue getting their child out of the car. As he did this, Wallace tried to retrieve her phone from him again, reaching into his pocket. Then, Wallace added that Manning grabbed her hand and bent it backward, forcing her to the ground on her knees while yelling at her. Wallace noted that this left a visible cut on her right knee and middle finger. Later in the investigation, Manning told officers that he grabbed Wallace’s phone from her vehicle because he thought it was his. Manning then admitted that the phone was, in fact, not his. A warrant was issued for his arrest on September 3rd. Manning was taken into custody for domestic assault on September 10th.

Devin Geiger breaks into ex-girlfriend’s home & pushes her against wall during altercation

34-year-old Devin Geiger was involved in a domestic incident with his ex-girlfriend Emily Riddle at her Paddle Wheel Drive residence on August 30th. When officers arrived and spoke with Riddle, she told them that she had heard Geiger banging on her front door. Riddle informed them that she had a Ring doorbell camera, so she watched as he did this and then walked to the side door next to the garage. While Geiger was at the side door, he forced his way into her house by damaging the door’s wooden frame. Geiger searched Riddle’s home until he found her inside the kitchen. Once he made contact with her, he grabbed her and pushed her against a wall. Geiger then held his forearm against her collarbone. While speaking with Riddle, officers confirmed that she had red marks on her chest near her collarbone. Geiger was later found and taken into custody for burglary on September 10th.

Home Care Nurse Sydney Clay makes false reports about another nurse causing patient’s death

36-year-old Sydney Danielle Clay, a nurse at Advanced Healthcare of Nashville, reported several false allegations against a travel nurse, Kaleisha Lax, to The Department of Human Services on August 8th. The report alleged that Lax dismissed a patient’s concerns and failed to collect their vitals, contact an ambulance as required, and document any of their health complaints on the evening of August 8th. Then, Clay stated that due to the neglect of the patient, he was found deceased in his bed the following morning. After this, officers, TBI investigators, and The Department of Human Services visited the facility unannounced. While there, they spoke with administrators, who immediately produced the patient’s records, case notes, and all the nurses scheduled for August 6th through August 10th.

The facility’s records revealed that Clay was not inside the building or even at work when she claimed the negligence occurred. It was also discovered that the patient was experiencing shortness of breath during the evening hours of August 9th and that no travel nurse was working that night before his death. The police report stated that it was proven that Clay knowingly and intentionally submitted a false report about the incident. Then, Marquita Williams, an administrator at this facility, told police that Clay had a history of making false allegations of neglect and abuse. Williams added that she had made numerous mendacious claims about other employees she did not get along with. The police discovered that all allegations Clay claimed were false and untruthful. A warrant was obtained for Clay’s arrest on September 9th. Clay was taken into custody for three counts of false accusations of vulnerable adult abuse and neglect on September 10th.
