35-year-old Sean Sublett passed out behind the wheel of his vehicle near the Gallatin Pike North Burger King in the early hours of August 31st. Officers observed the vehicle on and in drive. Police then conducted a vehicle block and removed Sublett from his car. They noticed his eyes were dilated during this, and he responded slowly to their requests. Sublett took sobriety tests, made abnormal comments, and performed poorly. Then, after being informed of implied consent, he refused to provide a chemical sample.

Officers discovered Sublett had a previous DUI from Kentucky on his driver’s license, and he gave them multiple answers regarding how it occurred. Sublett stated he had been arrested over 15 years ago before saying it was in 2022 and then telling them it was over 5 years ago. Officers could not verify anything due to his inconsistent statements but found that his license was suspended. Then, they transported Sublett to Nashville General Hospital and obtained a warrant for a blood sample. Sublett was taken into custody for driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license.

Sean P. Sublett of Mohawk Drive in Bowling Green, KY, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on August 31st, charged with driving with a suspended license and DUI. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $1,500, and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office gave him pre-trial release from their facility.
