41-year-old Johnny Temple had a domestic altercation with his ex-girlfriend and mother of his children, Shavea Rice, at his Cedar Ash Crossing residence on July 5th. Rice spoke with responding officers and told them she was with one of her children at the hospital. Rice stated she and Temple argued over cheating allegations and her not being at the hospital like she said she was. Rice then stated that she went to Temple’s residence to pick up their other two children, and he closed the door on her.
She added that she entered his house with the keys he had left outside on the door and got her child. Rice stated this was when she and Temple started tussling. Rice said that Temple punched her in the head and pulled her hair, leaving a visible knot on the left side of her forehead. A warrant was then issued for Temple’s arrest. Temple was later taken into custody for domestic assault on August 30th.
Johnny Temple of Cedar Ash Crossing in Antioch, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on August 30th, charged with domestic assault with bodily injury. He is free on a $2,000 bond.
