Robert Redley repeatedly bothers police as they investigate vehicular burglary at The Melrose Apartments

39-year-old Robert Redley interfered with the police’s investigation of a vehicle break-in near The Melrose Apartments in the early hours of August 30th. Officers advised Redley to leave the area because he was hindering them from doing their job. Then, several minutes later, Redley returned to the location. At the same time, the police interviewed the person who had their vehicle burglarized.

As officers did this, they informed Redley that he would be arrested if he did not leave. Then, Redley re-approached for a third time and refused to leave. Redley was then detained. During their interaction, the police noticed that Redley had a strong alcoholic odor emitting from his breath. Redley was taken into custody for public intoxication.

Robert Redley was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on August 30th, charged with public intoxication. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $100.
