Tyler Woods drunkenly jumps in front of cars near the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge

34-year-old Tyler Woods was nearly struck by a vehicle near the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge late August 31st. The police responded to the location to assist in transporting an intoxicated individual, later identified as Woods.

When officers arrived, they were advised that Woods had been jumping in front of cars and walking in the street before nearly being hit by a car. Then, officers spoke with Woods and noticed he was visibly impaired. Woods was deemed a danger to himself and taken into custody for public intoxication on September 1st.

Tyler R. Woods was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on September 1st, charged with public intoxication. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $1,000.
