While officers spoke with Armentrout, they reported that she was stumbling and refused to be taken to the hospital. Following this, Armentrout confessed that she had consumed a couple of drinks before she started driving, so officers prompted her with sobriety tests. Armentrout consented to sobriety tests but showed signs of impairment. Armentrout was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence on September 5th.

Karie Lynn Armentrout of Springdale Lane in Gallatin, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on September 5th, charged with DUI. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $2,000, and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office gave her pre-trial release from their facility.
