Then, the police asked Tate what had happened, and he said, “I was caught taking sh*t.” Security gave officers a list of the stolen items totaling $674.83. Then, the police discovered Tate had extraditable out-of-county warrants. During a search of Tate’s person, officers located a baggie of marijuana in his pocket. Tate stated, “I didn’t even know that was in there.” Tate was taken into custody for theft and simple possession.

Tevin D. Tate was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on August 30th, charged with theft and possession or causal exchange. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $1,500.
