34-year-old Devin Geiger was involved in a domestic incident with his ex-girlfriend Emily Riddle at her Paddle Wheel Drive residence on August 30th. When officers arrived and spoke with Riddle, she told them that she had heard Geiger banging on her front door. Riddle informed them that she had a Ring doorbell camera, so she watched as he did this and then walked to the side door next to the garage. While Geiger was at the side door, he forced his way into her house by damaging the door’s wooden frame.
Geiger searched Riddle’s home until he found her inside the kitchen. Once he made contact with her, he grabbed her and pushed her against a wall. Geiger then held his forearm against her collarbone. While speaking with Riddle, officers confirmed that she had red marks on her chest near her collarbone. Geiger was later found and taken into custody for burglary on September 10th.
Devin M. Geiger of Vaughns Gap Road in Nashville, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on September 10th, charged with burglary. He is free on a $10,000 bond.
