Eric Tyson indicted by Grand Jury for TennCare Fraud

The Davidson County Grand Jury has indicted 52-year-old Eric Michael Tyson for TennCare fraud and theft of services on November 1st, 2019. The indictment alleges that Tyson, between April 1st, 2018, and June 30th, 2019, before the finding of this indictment, did knowingly obtain medical assistance benefits or any assistance provided by TennCare to which he was not entitled or was of a greater value than that to which he was authorized and received certain services from TennCare valuing more than $2,500 but less than $10,000, through deception, fraud, coercion, or other means, with intent to avoid payment for the services.

Tyson was taken into custody on September 10th, 2024.

Eric Michael Tyson of Lookout Cove in San Antonio, TX, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on September 10th, charged with fraud and theft. He is free on a $10,000 bond.
