After this, Wallace said Manning went to the car to continue getting their child out of the car. As he did this, Wallace tried to retrieve her phone from him again, reaching into his pocket. Then, Wallace added that Manning grabbed her hand and bent it backward, forcing her to the ground on her knees while yelling at her. Later in the investigation, Manning told officers that he grabbed Wallace’s phone from her vehicle because he thought it was his. Manning then admitted that the phone was, in fact, not his. A warrant was issued for his arrest on September 3rd. Manning was taken into custody for domestic assault on September 10th.
