46-year-old Brent Meyer was seen driving under the influence after a single-vehicle car accident at the Gaylord Opryland Resort And Convention Center Opryland Drive on September 10th. When the officers arrived, they noticed a vehicle had driven up a hill and was stuck on top of a concrete barrier. After speaking with security, they found Meyer, who had fled the scene and was trying to hide from both security and officers. Meyer appeared confused, had slurred speech, smelled of alcohol, and had vomit and blood on his shirt. Officers confirmed that Meyer had been in control of the vehicle with the help of security, who had seen him in the driver’s seat. Security also informed the officers that Meyer had driven through a chain-link fence, causing $5,000 worth of damage. The security footage also showed Meyer going through the fence. When asked about his alcohol consumption, Meyer replied, “I don’t know,” and claimed he had stopped drinking hours ago. Meyer also claimed he didn’t know how his truck got onto the concrete barrier. When asked to perform sobriety tests, Meyer did not consent. Meyer was then detained, refused to give additional statements, and refused implied consent. Upon searching Meyer’s person, officers found a receipt in his pocket showing the purchase of seven alcoholic beverages from a nearby bar. When asked about vehicle insurance, Meyer could not provide proof, claiming his phone was dead. Meyer was then transported and later charged with criminal trespass, driving under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident, refusing implied consent, and failure to provide insurance.

William Swope shoves girlfriend into TV while yelling at her for cheating
25-year-old William Swope was involved in a domestic altercation with his girlfriend, Caitlyn Hill, at their Southoak Drive residence on September 8th. Hill reported that Swope refused to let her in when she got home. But once she got inside and attempted to sleep on the couch, he began yelling at her about her cheating. According to Hill, the yelling continued onto the porch, which is where Swope grabbed her by the hair back into the apartment. After this, Swope then pushed Hill into a TV. Officers later came into contact with Swope, and then he was taken into custody for domestic assault on September 9th.
DUI: Eric Babula scores 0.254% BAC after drinking 2 “glasses” of Bourbon before driving
40-year-old Eric Babula had a single-vehicle accident at a Harpeth Hills Drive residence on the afternoon of September 9th. When officers arrived, Babula was sitting in the driver’s seat. Officers instructed Babula to exit his vehicle. As he exited his vehicle, officers noticed he had a strong alcoholic odor coming from his breath and was visibly impaired.
When prompted, Babula consented to sobriety tests and performed poorly. Then, Babula was informed of implied consent and agreed to provide a breath sample, resulting in 0.254% BAC. Under Miranda, Babula told the police that he consumed two “glasses” of bourbon around 1 p.m. Babula was taken into custody for driving under the influence.
Morgan Beier beats boyfriend in head with Jumbo Jenga Brick during altercation at Pins Mechanical Co.
23-year-old Morgan Beier was involved in an altercation with her boyfriend, Thomas Riddle, at Pins Mechanical Co. on September 8th. When officers arrived and spoke with Thomas, he said he and his friend Javante were hanging out at Pins Mechanical Co. Thomas stated Morgan showed up and started an argument. During the argument, Morgan lashed out, pushing and slapping him. This led to her cutting Thomas’ nose with her nails, which officers observed.
During this, Morgan knocked down the Jumbo Jenga tower they were playing with and hit Javante in the head with one of the bricks. For reference, a single Jumbo Jenga brick is the size of a forearm. Morgan proceeded to throw four of the Jumbo Jenga bricks at Javante’s head, which caused a “golf ball” sized knot on his head. Morgan then fled to the DoubleTree Hilton hotel, where she knew Thomas’ car was, after being kicked out twice by staff at Pins Mechanical Co. Once she arrived, she went inside Thomas’ car, tossed everything inside it, stole $200, and broke his windshield. Thomas showed officers text messages of Morgan admitting that she did this. When officers made contact with Morgan, she was taken into custody and transported to booking, where she was charged with vandalism, domestic assault, and aggravated assault on September 9th.
Whitney Estep assaults employee at Wayback Burgers after refusing to leave
34-year-old Whitney Estep had an altercation with an employee at Wayback Burgers on Charlotte Avenue in the early hours of August 11th, 2021. The staff member told officers that Estep entered the business and sat down. However, since she was not a paying customer, he approached Estep to tell her she had to leave the establishment. She responded by becoming enraged, refusing to leave, and cussing him out.
The employee stated that Estep eventually exited the front door but went to the front dining area. He followed her and asked her to leave the property again. Then, Estep struck him twice on his right arm, and he called 911. Estep was then cited for the occurrence that day. Since Estep did not book herself by August 30th, 2021, a bench warrant was issued for her arrest on September 8th, 2021. Estep was later booked on the citation of assault and criminal trespass on September 9th, 2024.
Shianne Milton assaults police officer while resisting arrest at Greyhound Bus Station
On September 9th, 18-year-old Shianne Milton was seen being paranoid at the Greyhound Bus Station on Rep John Lewis Way South when she was asked to leave. When officers spoke with Greyhound staff, they requested Milton leave after she argued with them. Officers then asked Milton to leave the location, which Milton refused. Eventually, officers attempted to remove Milton physically. However, she resisted, so officers attempted to take her into custody.
During this attempt, officers reported that Milton began pulling away from police and tensing up her arms, prompting other officers to come in to contain her. When the additional officers arrived, Milton’s resistance intensified, which climaxed when she kicked officer Amanda Pape, causing her to fall. Milton was eventually placed into custody and transported to General Hospital for medical clearance. While Milton was at the hospital, she admitted that she had recently smoked marijuana. She also admitted that she had been recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Once Milton was cleared, she was taken into custody and charged with resisting arrest, criminal trespassing, and assault on a law enforcement officer on September 10th.
Brandon Quigley punches grandma in face over family inheritance, calls her a “Whore”
33-year-old Brandon Quigley was involved in a domestic altercation with his grandmother, Deborah Quigley, while at her General George Patton Road residence on August 30th. When the officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with Deborah, who claimed that her grandson had assaulted her. According to Deborah, Brandon was upset about the family property inheritance and came to her door upset. Deborah alleges that when she went out onto her patio to talk to him, Brandon started swearing at her and calling her a “Whore”. Deborah says that in response to the offensive language, she slapped Brandon. In turn, Brandon punched her in the face with a closed fist, causing her to fall unconscious. When she regained consciousness, Deborah called the police and realized that Brandon had left. After an investigation, a warrant was issued, and Brandon was arrested for aggravated assault on September 10th. Deborah sustained injuries, including unconsciousness, swelling on her right cheek near the eye, and a scraped elbow.
Zenaisha Baker threatens to kill roommate with knife during argument
24-year-old Zenaisha Baker was involved in an altercation with her roommate, Amino Amir, at their Erin Lane residence on September 9th. Officers arrived and spoke with everyone involved. They told police that the altercation started because Amir had brought a man over who Baker didn’t want in their apartment. Amir and another person who lived with Baker stated that Baker pulled a knife out on Amir and told her that she was going to kill her. The other roommate who witnessed the fight stated that Amir and Baker got into a fight as Amir tried to take the knife away from Baker. When officers asked for Baker’s account of events, she admitted that she did pull a knife on Amir before they started fighting. Baker was then taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault on September 10th.
Antonio Durham indicted by Grand Jury for exposing his genitals to prison employee
The Davidson County Grand Jury indicted 34-year-old Antonio Durham for three counts of indecent exposure on July 31st, 2024. The indictment alleges that Durham, on September 24th, 2023, before the finding of this indictment, while confined in a penal institution and with intent to abuse, torment, harass, or embarrass an employee, did intentionally expose his genitals or buttocks to a staff member at Riverbend Maximum Security Institution three times. Durham was taken into custody on September 9th, 2024.
Darryl Claxton indicted by Grand Jury for exposing himself to prison employee
The Davidson County Grand Jury indicted 33-year-old Darryl Claxton for three counts of indecent exposure on July 31st, 2024. The indictment alleges that Claxton, on November 5th, 2023, December 7th, 2023, and December 24th, 2023, before the finding of this indictment, while confined in a penal institution, and with intent to abuse, torment, harass, or embarrass an employee, did intentionally expose his genitals or buttocks to a staff member at Riverbend Maximum Security Institution. Claxton was taken into custody on September 9th, 2024.
