The Davidson County Grand Jury indicted 29-year-old Octavious Walton for five counts of indecent exposure on July 31st, 2024. The indictment alleges that Walton, on September 25th, 2023, October 25th, 2023, November 10th, 2023, November 14th, 2023, and December 6th, 2023, before the finding of this indictment, while confined in a penal institution, and with intent to abuse, torment, harass, or embarrass an employee, did intentionally expose his genitals or buttocks to a staff member at Riverbend Maximum Security Institution. Walton was taken into custody on September 9th, 2024.

Meleek Morrison indicted by Grand Jury for exposing his genitals to prison employee

The indictment alleges that Morrison, on August 8th, 2023, August 12th, 2023, and August 13th, 2023, before the finding of this indictment, while confined in a penal institution, and with intent to abuse, torment, harass, or embarrass an employee, did intentionally expose his genitals or buttocks to a staff member at Riverbend Maximum Security Institution. Morrison was taken into custody on September 9th, 2024.

Ab Leon shoots at man’s car after following him home in his Dodge Charger

19-year-old Ab Leon had an altercation with Saw Pah at the Ocal and Townes Drive intersection on August 24th. Officers were called to a Danley Court residence, where they spoke with Pah. He stated he was leaving the Nolensville Pike Walmart when he saw Leon in his black Dodge Charger. Pah said he proceeded to head home, and Leon followed him to Ocal Drive. Pah said this was where Leon passed by him and shot one round into his car, striking the door under the window and causing damage. Officers obtained warrants for Leon’s arrest that day. Leon was later taken into custody for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon from a motor vehicle and vandalism on September 9th.

Andrew Turner shatters girlfriend’s car window during argument over relationship issues

22-year-old Andrew Turner was caught after destroying his girlfriend Catalina Shoemake’s property while at a Clarksville Pike residence on September 9th. When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with Turner, who informed them that he had gotten into an argument with Shoemake. Shoemake was also not on the scene, but officers later called her. Turner had informed officers that he and Showmake had gotten into an argument. He explained that he became so upset that he punched out the back driver’s window of Catalina’s vehicle, which caused it to shatter. Turner had cuts to his hand that were consistent with the glass shattering on it. Officers then spoke with Shoemake over the phone, and her statement corroborated Turner’s. Due to the evidence and admittance, Turner was deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for vandalism.

DUI: James Dasher scores .227% BAC after passing out behind the wheel of his car

38-year-old James Dasher was sleeping behind the wheel of his car near Beechwood Avenue and 12th Avenue South on September 9th. Responding officers met with NFD personnel at a Beechwood Avenue residence, where medics had spoken with Dasher. Medics advised that Dasher refused transportation and medical assistance. When the police approached the driver’s seat, they spoke with Dasher. Officers noted that he reeked of alcohol and showed signs of impairment. Dasher said he drank at around 9 in the morning but would not disclose how much.

Then, officers instructed him to exit the vehicle and prompted him with sobriety tests. Dasher consented and performed poorly on the tests. After this, police detained Dasher. Under Miranda, Dasher continued telling them he had drunk alcohol in the morning without saying the amount. Dasher was informed of implied consent and agreed to provide a breath sample. The sample resulted in a .227% BAC, nearly three times the legal limit of 0.08. Dasher was taken into custody for driving under the influence-2nd offense.

Baljinder Singh deemed too drunk for Nashville International Airport

25-year-old Baljinder Singh was seen publicly intoxicated while at the Nashville International Airport on September 9th. When officers arrived on the scene, They noticed he reeked of alcohol. Officers also noticed his inability to maintain his balance and glossy eyes. Officers then asked Singh to call an Uber, leave the property, and stay at a hotel for the night. However, Singh was unable to do this. Due to Singh’s inability to get a ride or stay somewhere for the night, he was taken into custody for public intoxication.

Abortion Extortion: Aries Bryant threatens to sell unborn baby for $50K if man doesn’t pay her

25-year-old Aries Bryant was caught trying to scam a man she previously had sexual relations with, Alonzo Furtick, on September 5th. When officers arrived and spoke with Furtick, he informed them that he only had two sexual encounters with Bryant in the past. Furtick stated that the incident began when Bryant had texted him that she was pregnant. Furtick told officers that he offered to give her money for an abortion. However, Bryant felt this wasn’t enough and asked for more money. Bryant then stated that she would sell the unborn child for $50,000 if she didn’t receive it.

The messages law enforcement read were, “And since we complaining about money. I want $1k, I have to go to Chicago for three days, miss school, work and still manage my children. Or I can sit on my ass the rest of the year and sell your baby for $50k, which is what I’d like to do.” Further in the messages, Bryant went on to describe the person she would sell her baby to as “a good person, crazy rich, and can take care of a kid no questions asked.” After that, Bryant said, “50k would change my life??? Are you dumb?” Furtick informed officers that someone had sent him a screenshot of Bryant’s Instagram story showing him lying in bed. The text over the picture said, “Hate this b*tch! I’m thinking about making 40 Google accounts and leaving bad reviews on his restaurant.” Initially, Furtick could only identify Bryant by her first name, Aries, but further investigation revealed her full name and address. After Bryant was identified, officers made contact with her, and then she was taken into custody for extortion on September 9th.

DUI: Cristhian Barahona-Salinas crashes into woman’s home covered in rice & red sauce

20-year-old Cristhian Josue Barahona-Salinas crashed into the side of Daphne Hope Brant’s Cloverwood Drive residence and Kristopher Jerome Gauthier’s parked vehicle late September 8th. When officers arrived, they observed Barahona-Salinas’ car and the damage it had done. Officers noted that he was not on the scene. Then, officers spoke with multiple witnesses, who stated that Barahona-Salinas walked away from the crash and provided them with a description of his clothing.

After this, the police located Barahona-Salinas on the nearby cross-street with rice and red sauce on his pants, matching the mess inside his vehicle. Barahona-Salinas told officers that he had three beers earlier as he reeked of alcohol and showed signs of impairment. After taking sobriety tests, he was detained for the occurrence. Barahona-Salinas was informed of implied consent and agreed to provide a breath sample, resulting in 0.089% BAC. Barahona-Salinas was taken into custody for driving under the influence, two counts of vandalism, and leaving the scene of an accident on September 9th.

Lanisha Dennis steals $171 worth of merchandise from Walmart via self-checkout

26-year-old Lanisha Dennis was caught shoplifting at the Walmart on Dickerson Pike on February 26th, 2023. The Walmart loss prevention agent informed officers that they witnessed Dennis scanning one item at self-checkout. After this, Dennis put several unscanned items in her cart. The loss prevention agent stated that he confronted her and identified himself once she left the store without paying. After waiting for law enforcement to show up, the agent had to let Dennis go because the period that he was allowed to detain her was over. The value of the merchandise that was recovered was $171. Dennis was served her warrant for theft a year later, on August 8th, 2024.

35-year-old Donnie Joe Maynor caused a disturbance in Half Moon Empanadas at Nashville International Airport on September 9th. Officers responded to a call regarding a male, later identified as Maynor, who had urinated on the counter inside the establishment. When the police arrived, they observed Maynor slumped over in a chair, so they woke him up. Once he woke up, officers noticed Maynor was visibly intoxicated, with a strong alcoholic odor coming from his breath. Then, the store clerk, Lexus Haven, showed the police a video she had taken from behind the counter. The footage showed Maynor leaning up against the counter before backing away with his penis out in his hand. It also showed urine spilling onto the ground from the tabletop. Then, Maynor was taken into custody for public indecency and public intoxication.
