Desaray Boyd jailed after stealing peanut butter at Walmart

30-year-old Desaray Boyd was caught shoplifting at the Walmart on Nolensville Pike on September 4th. The loss prevention officer associated with Walmart told officers that they stopped Boyd and detained her in their office. They added they did this after observing Boyd conceal merchandise in her purse. Following this, officers discovered that Boyd had already been trespassed from another Walmart. Additionally, officers were provided with a surveillance video capturing Boyd tucking peanut butter into her purse. Boyd was then taken into custody and charged with burglary and theft.

Nicholas Kellum caught smoking blunt while trespassing at Waterford Crossing Apartments

20-year-old Nicholas Kellum was caught trespassing by the property manager of the Waterford Crossing Apartments, Brittany Owens, on September 4th. Owens disclosed that officers had already visited the premises on September 3rd regarding matters related to Kellum. Owens stated on that day, officers had made contact with Kellum. Owens informed him that he was no longer allowed on the property. Following this, staff escorted officers to the back of the leasing office. Officers made contact with Kellum, who was observed sitting on a bench and actively rolling a marijuana blunt. He was then taken into custody for the incident. During an arrest search, officers found 4.5 grams of marijuana on his person. When asked about the amount of weed Kellum had on him, he stated that he had about two grams. Kellum was then transported to booking and charged with possession/casual exchange and criminal trespassing on September 4th.

Roger Duckworth caught with 108 grams of marijuana during traffic stop at Nashville International Airport

38-year-old Roger Duckworth was stopped at the Nashville International Airport on September 4th when officers noticed how dark his tint was. Once they conducted a traffic stop, they reported that they could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. A probable cause search led to officers finding 108 grams of marijuana inside a bag belonging to Duckworth. Duckworth was then taken into custody and charged with possession of a Schedule Six drug.

Lindi Sophabmixay assaults boyfriend after going through his phone & breaking up with him

19-year-old Lindi Sophabmixay had a domestic altercation with her ex-boyfriend, Shawn England, on September 3rd. Responding officers spoke with England, who stated that he and Sophabmixay had broken up earlier in the day. He stated this was because she had gone through his phone and found things that upset her. England said that Sophabmixay got angry and pushed him. Then, the police spoke with a witness, who stated that she woke up to Sophabmixay screaming and crying. The witness added that she saw England push her to prevent her from hitting him after she kept charging at him. When officers spoke with Sophabmixay, she denied anything physical had occurred but kept telling them that she wanted to leave. Sophabmixay was deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for domestic assault.

Gregory Fraction resists arrest after refusing to leave the Nashville Rescue Mission

50-year-old Gregory Fraction was seen refusing to leave the Nashville Rescue Mission on September 2nd. Staff at the location requested that officers remove Fraction because he already had an active trespass waiver. When officers arrived, they observed that Fraction was standing at the main entrance door and displaying signs of intoxication. While speaking with Fraction, officers reported that he was uncooperative, refused to provide necessary information, and was argumentative. Fraction was then placed in custody and escorted to a patrol car so officers could conduct an arrest search. During that process, Fraction showed increased agitation and resistance. This led to Fraction pushing, pulling, and locking his legs while officers attempted to put him inside the patrol vehicle. Once Fraction was secured inside the patrol car, he stated his entire body hurt and requested an ambulance. Once medics arrived and Fraction was in the back of the ambulance, he ripped off the medical equipment that was being used to obtain his vitals. Following this, Fraction was transported to booking and charged with criminal trespassing, resisting arrest, and public intoxication on September 3rd.

Raphael Jobehdari shoots & kills man after stealing mother’s car

18-year-old Raphael Jobehdari refused to give his mother, Maricely Valdes, her keys back on July 4th. On July 5th, Valdes told officers that on July 3rd, her car keys were in her purse, and she noticed later that evening that they were missing. She further explained that on July 4th, she saw Jobehdari with her keys in her hand, so she asked for them back. However, he would not return the keys to her. Valdes stated that she had not seen her keys since, adding that she and Jobehdari had been back and forth from their residence. Valdes added that she had asked several times for her car keys, but Jobehdari did not return them. She said that he had never been allowed to use her car. A warrant was then issued for his arrest that day.

Later, On July 18th, Jobehdari was speeding on Dickerson Pike. Officers noticed him going 52 mph in a 40 mph zone and conducted a traffic stop at Moss Trail. When the police approached the vehicle, they smelled a strong odor of marijuana. They observed Jobehdari showing nervous behavior, avoiding eye contact, sweating profusely, and moving excessively. After Jobehdari gave officers his identification, the passenger stated that the car belonged to her mother and didn’t know where the registration was. Officers asked her and Jobehdari if there was any more marijuana in the vehicle due to the smell. The passenger said the marijuana was in the armrest, which was when Jobehdari changed his posture as if he were about to drive away. After this, the police instructed them to exit the vehicle. Jobehdari then pulled off, heading south on Dickerson Pike at a high rate of speed, and nearly struck a driver in the process. Officers later discovered that he had an outstanding warrant for theft. Additional warrants were then issued for Jobehdari’s arrest that day.

On August 31st, at 6:30 p.m., Jobehdari was captured on video driving to Zeppelin Phillips’s Hallbourogh Way residence in his blue Mazda 3. While at the location, Jobehdari shot Phillips twice. Phillips was transported to the hospital and was later pronounced deceased. Then, on September 1st, a search warrant was executed at Jobehdari’s Carl Miller Drive residence. Officers located the vehicle and gun used in the homicide during their search. Officers also found text messages between Jobehdari and Phillips showing them arranging a gun transaction. Phillips paid Jobehdari $440 on Cash App before Jobehdari shot him. Another warrant was issued for Jobehdari’s arrest. Jobehdari was later taken into custody for theft, reckless driving, evading arrest with a motor vehicle, and criminal homicide on September 2nd.

Shazeedra Jolly assaults coworker at Commons Club Kitchen after year-long feud “boiled over”

22-year-old Shazeedra Denise Jolly had an incident with a co-worker, Collicia Latoya Barnett, at the Commons Club Kitchen on the afternoon of August 31st. Responding officers spoke with Barnett, who stated that Jolly had slapped her in the face. She stated Jolly hit her right eye and cheek, causing her to feel pain. According to Barnett, there had been a year-long history of disagreements between them, which “boiled over,” resulting in a scuffle. Witness statements corroborated Barnett’s account of events. Jolly was taken into custody for assault.

DUI: Angel Alberto caught with 119 grams of marijuana at sobriety checkpoint

25-year-old Angel Alberto was stopped in a white Nissan Maxima at a sobriety checkpoint on August 30th. State troopers informed Alberto that they were conducting a sobriety checkpoint. When they did this, he confessed that he had two beers four hours before they stopped him. Upon examining Alberto, troopers confirmed that they noticed signs of intoxication, so they prompted him to perform sobriety tests. Alberto consented to the sobriety tests but showed several indicators of impairment, so he was taken into custody. During an arrest search of Alberto’s car, troopers located a large mason jar containing two bags of marijuana. The marijuana in the plastic bags totaled 119 grams. Alberto was later transported to booking and charged with driving under the influence and possession of a Schedule Six drug on August 31st.

Jenna Clark booked for being too drunk at Chief’s on Broadway, to tell police where she’s staying

24-year-old Jenna Danielle Clark had an incident at Chief’s on Broadway late September 5th. Responding officers initially believed that a domestic altercation had occurred, but they determined that it was a verbal disagreement. Then, the police deemed it best if both parties, one being Clark, were to go home in separate vehicles. The other involved individual agreed and started walking back to where they were staying. This gave Clark enough time to get a ride and get to her hotel safely. When officers asked Clark where she was staying, she could not answer because of her level of intoxication. They noticed she reeked of alcohol and could not stand on her own. Officers deemed Clark a danger to herself and took her into custody for public intoxication.

Mark Colenburg enters baby mama’s home while she’s sleeping & attempts to take their child

45-year-old Mark Colenburg was involved in a domestic altercation with the mother of his child, Maria Feeney, at their Deby Trace residence on July 23rd. When officers arrived, they spoke with Feeney. She stated that she was sleeping in her room with their infant child when Colenburg entered the residence. Feeney stated that Colenburg entered her room and attempted to take their child from her. Feeney told officers that she refused and instead started hugging their child against her. Feeney stated that when she did this, Colenburg bit her three times, causing visible bruises. Colenburg was not there when officers arrived. Colenburg was later found and taken into custody for domestic assault on August 31st.
