DUI: Kristen Bowlds performs illegal U-turn on Murfreesboro Pike after having 3-4 drinks

32-year-old Kristen Marie Bowlds conducted an illegal U-turn at a DUI checkpoint near Murfreesboro Pike and Pinway Road late June 7th. Officers observed this and approached the vehicle, during which they spoke with Bowlds. She reeked of alcohol as she admitted to drinking 3-4 beverages that night. Bowlds consented to sobriety tests, performed poorly, and after being read implied consent, agreed to provide a blood sample. Bowlds was transported to St. Thomas Midtown ER and was taken into custody for driving under the influence on June 8th.

Miguel Bastida refuses to leave Rippy’s Honky Tonk, kicks window in the back of police car

30-year-old Miguel Bastida caused a disturbance at Rippy’s Honky Tonk in the early hours of June 8th. Security for the establishment alerted the authorities, advising them that Bastida was refusing to leave. They added that they escorted him out of the bar after he became combative with them. When officers arrived, they spoke with Bastida. They noticed he was visibly impaired and reeked of alcohol, so they went to detain him, during which he started resisting and pulling away from them. Once officers managed to place Bastida in the patrol car, he started kicking the window until they put him in hobble restraints. Bastida was deemed a danger to himself and was taken into custody for public intoxication, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and criminal trespassing.

Slider Cesar Sandoval drifts into intersection during NightRiderz takeover in 2023

20-year-old Cesar Sandoval was taken into custody for reckless endangerment on June 7th, 2024. On May 27th and May 28th, 2023, Sandoval attended a NightRiderz takeover meetup, during which he was identified as a “slider”. Sandoval drifted into the Nolensville Pike and Elysian Fields intersection while pedestrians surrounded the pit area. After an investigation, a warrant was issued for his arrest on April 30th, 2024. Sandoval was later detained for the incident.

DUI: Jessica Alcorn crashes into multiple vehicles & divider wall, tells officers someone cut her off

21-year-old Jessica Alcorn was arrested after wrecking into multiple vehicles late June 8th. Around 10:55 p.m., officers were called regarding a vehicle driving erratically then wrecking into multiple vehicles and the divider wall. When officers arrived, Alcorn was sitting on the road with the medics. Officers approached and spoke with Alcorn, during which she reeked of booze and advised them that someone had cut her off, causing her to wreck. During their interaction, Alcorn repeated her statements repeatedly. When officers inventoried her vehicle, they located THC products and opened bottles of liquor. Alcorn consented to sobriety tests, performed poorly, and after being read implied consent, refused to provide a chemical sample. After officers obtained a warrant for a blood draw, they transported Alcorn to Nashville General Hospital and detained her for the incident. Alcorn was taken into custody for driving under the influence, an open container violation, and an implied consent violation on June 9th.

DUI: Tyler Hilad causes accident after drinking tequila

32-year-old Tyler Hilad was involved in a car accident on I-65 at Mile Marker 87 around 5 a.m. on June 9th. When officers arrived, they gathered information from both drivers and noticed a strong odor of alcohol coming from Hilad’s breath. Hilad admitted to having two tequila and seltzers earlier in the night. He consented to sobriety tests, performed poorly, and was transported to St. Thomas for a blood draw before being arrested for driving under the influence.

Anthony Boyd caught illegally selling alcohol at CMA Fest

39-year-old Anthony Montana Boyd was observed illegally selling alcoholic drinks at CMA Fest in Nissan Stadium on June 9th. Officers attempted to approach him, but he fled to another parking lot. Boyd disregarded their commands to stop and attempted to run away. After a short foot pursuit, he was detained and told officers that once he saw them, he ran. Boyd was then taken into custody for criminal trespassing and evading arrest.

DUI: Berk Yusuf urinates on himself after crashing his car

19-year-old Berk Yusuf had a single-vehicle accident near Hickory Hollow Parkway and Crossings Place around 6:09 a.m. on June 9th. Upon arrival, officers spoke with Yusuf, who was dirty and had no shirt on. Yusuf stated he had been in a crash but was unsure where it happened. Yusuf was extremely uneasy on his feet and had urinated himself prior to officers arrival. Officers prompted Yusuf with sobriety tests, which he consented to and performed poorly. He initially agreed to provide a chemical sample but later changed his mind. Yusuf was taken into custody for an implied consent violation and driving under the influence.

DUI: Tucker Abel moseys 20 mph on I-24, hits median multiple times

22-year-old Tucker Abel was taken into custody on June 8th for driving under the influence. Alicia Gill called the police, advising them that she followed a red Honda CRV from Mile Marker 54 on I-24 East to Mile Marker 221A on I-40 East. During this time, she observed the vehicle going 20 miles per hour on the interstate and striking the median multiple times. When officers arrived, they noticed Abel standing near the driver’s side of her vehicle on the left shoulder of I-40 East. Officers noticed Abel smelled strongly of alcohol, and he admitted he had three mixed drinks. He consented to sobriety tests and performed poorly. While detained, Abel asked officers to get his vape from the center console.

Daniel Hudson throws drinks at officers from second floor of Honky Tonk Central

28-year-old Daniel Wilsford Hudson tossed a beverage from the second floor of Honky Tonk Central in the early hours of June 8th. Officers Forrest Tucker and Arismendy Balbi were hit by the liquid and then a witness pointed out Hudson as the culprit. Officers detained him and reviewed footage from the establishment showing him throwing the drink at them. Hudson was taken into custody for two counts of assault of an officer.

LaCharlisia Williams steals $800 worth of merchandise from Macy’s

18-year-old LaCharlisia Williams was caught stealing from a Macy’s on Hillsboro Pike on May 4th. When officers arrived they made contact with the asset protection team, who stated that Williams and another female, Timmia Taylor, were shopping around and only purchased two items. They claimed they were in the store for an hour, picking up different items and bringing them to the fitting room to conceal them within their Macy’s shopping bag. Asset protection told officers that the pair walked past all points of sale and left the macys before they apprehended them, bringing them back to their office. The items totaled $801.42. Williams was cited for theft of merchandise and booked on June 3rd.
