Booster Salvatierra Alvarado & friends steal $1,240 worth of merchandise from Coach Store

18-year-old Salvatierra Alvarado and Jean Pier Francisco Rondon-Cordova stole merchandise from Sunglass Hut at Tanger Outlet Mall on August 12th. An employee at the location, Laura Martinez, alerted the authorities and completed a report stating that two suspects, later identified as Alvarado and Rondon-Cordova, entered the store and started looking at sunglasses. Martinez said that while the female, Alvarado, asked her about the glasses, the male, Rondon-Cordova, concealed two pairs in an Adidas bag he had brought. After this, the two left without paying for $851 worth of sunglasses. Then, images of Alvarado and Rondon-Cordova were sent to South Precinct Detectives to identify them. On August 26th, officers were notified of Rondon-Cordova and Salvatierra Alvarado being at Tanger Outlet Mall. When officers arrived, they observed them and Kalex Zhaid Ramos-Baez getting into a vehicle. Officers noticed the vehicle had an obstructed plate and illegally tinted windows, so they conducted a traffic stop. After the police approached the vehicle, Ramos-Baez stated he had no driver’s license, which they later confirmed. Then, officers Mirandized and interviewed Rondon-Cordova and Alvarado. During the interview, officers alerted detectives that an Adidas bag containing Coach items was inside the vehicle, which Rondon-Cordova claimed he had stolen. Following the admission, officers went to the Coach store, where they spoke with a store manager. The store manager confirmed that Ramos-Baez, Rondon-Cordova, and Alvarado had entered the establishment and started browsing through merchandise. While Ramos-Baez looked through the store, Rondon-Cordova was observed concealing multiple items inside a bag he had brought. After gathering the merchandise, Alvarado paid for a pair of shorts. The three then left the location without paying for $1,240 worth of property. Alvarado and Rondon-Cordova were later deemed responsible for the August 12th theft at Sunglass Hut. Then, Alvarado was taken into custody for two counts of theft on August 26th.

Zatiyah Dixon douses boyfriend in bleach, destroys his phones during altercation

21-year-old Zatiyah Dixon was involved in a domestic incident with her boyfriend, Monte Simpson, at his Fatherland Street residence on August 26th. When officers arrived and spoke with Simpson, he stated that Dixon broke both of his phones and threw bleach on him. Simpson told officers that while he was sleeping, Dixon woke him up and hit him in the face. Simpson stated that when he got up, Dixon had both of his phones in her hands. Dixon then told him to get out of the residence. According to Simpson, while he was in the process of leaving, she smashed both of his phones. Simpson stated she then took the lid off a bottle of bleach and poured it on him, his car, and his clothes. When officers made contact with Dixon, she was taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault and vandalism.

Milleily Toledo-Villegas sells margarita to minor at La Chula Mexican Bar & Grill

29-year-old Milleily Toledo-Villegas sold alcohol to a TABC undercover CI at La Chula Mexican Bar & Grill on July 18th. TABC agents entered the establishment and conducted a minor compliance check. During the check, they witnessed Toledo-Villegas serve their minor CI a margarita after not checking their ID. Toledo-Villegas was then cited for the incident that day. Toledo-Villegas was later booked on the citation of selling alcohol to a minor on August 23rd.

Derrick Dumoulin calls police multiple times while tweaking at Knights Inn Hotel

39-year-old Derrick Dumoulin called the police and told them, “Someone is pointing a gun at me and is breaking into my hotel room.” on August 24th. When officers arrived and spoke with Dumoulin, he stated that no one had tried to enter his hotel and that there was no gun. Officers had already responded to Knights Inn hotel three separate times this day because of Dumoulin. Each time law enforcement arrived, Dumoulin would tell them there was no emergency and that dispatch was not telling the truth. The day before, on August 23rd, officers had also responded to Dumoulin multiple times. Dumoulin had reported that he was in serious danger, so officers were unable to respond to other pending calls. Dumoulin was warned that he would be arrested if he continued to make false 911 calls. While officers interacted with Dumoulin, they reported he was excessively sweating, extremely paranoid, and fidgeting. After Dumoulin consented to a search of his hotel room, officers found a chore-boy inside his microwave, which they reported was commonly used for smoking narcotics. Dumoulin was then taken into custody and charged with making a non-emergency 911 call on August 25th.

Juan Thompson pistol-whips his cousin for touching his shoes during argument

19-year-old Juan Thompson had a domestic incident with his cousin, Toniyja Winters, at her Bell Road apartment in the early hours of August 26th. Winters told responding officers that she let Thompson and his pregnant girlfriend, Briasia Hyde, stay the night. Then, Winters stated that she and Thompson verbally argued the following morning. She stated they argued because Thompson was mad Hyde went outside and was doing something while pregnant. Winters said that she told Thompson and Hyde to leave because she had to go to work and did not want them in her apartment anymore. After this, Winters explained that Thompson told her not to touch his shoes or he would pistol whip her. Then, Winters touched his shoes, trying to get him to leave. In response, Thompson grabbed his pistol and hit her in the back of the head twice, knocking her to the ground. Winters added that while she was on the floor, Thompson started hitting her with his shoes repeatedly. Hyde, who witnessed the occurrence, confirmed Winters’s statements. Then, Winters told the police that she wished to press charges. After the police noticed blood on the back of her head, Winters was transported to Summit Medical Center for treatment. Thompson was not on the scene, so a warrant was issued for his arrest that day. Thompson was later taken into custody for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon on August 27th.

Carl Bowles spends Saturday night in style after throwing rock through Chick-Fil-A window

55-year-old Carl Bowles was seen throwing a rock at the Chick-fil-A on Rosa L Parks Boulevard’s window on August 24th. When officers arrived and spoke with staff at the location, they were provided video footage of Bowles throwing a rock at the front window. Officers observed the hole in the window and the rock under the window. The executive director of the store informed law enforcement that it would cost around $2,500 to $3,000 to fix the window. Officers later found Bowles down the street but couldn’t identify him as the man involved in the incident, so they let him go. Once officers received better-quality images from the location’s staff, they successfully identified Bowles. After this, he was located again, taken into custody, and charged with vandalism.

La’Darion Johnson speeds away from police in Dodge Charger at 70 mph in 35 mph zone during assault investigation

22-year-old La’Darion Johnson was speeding through Crowe Drive in a black Dodge Charger on July 30th. While officers were investigating an aggravated assault case, Johnson, who was driving the Charger, was alleged to be involved. When officers attempted to make contact with Johnson, he sped away. MCPD’s air unit followed Johnson as he circled the area at a high speed. Johnson was observed going 70 mph in a 35 mph zone and failing to stop at stop signs. When officers came into contact with Johnson, he was at the initial residence where the aggravated assault case occurred. While Johnson was there, it was reported that he had become aggressive when the victim accused him of having “Pulled a pistol” on him. Officers cited him for the violation that day. Johnson was later booked on the citation of reckless driving on August 23rd.

Crystal Skinner yells at officers after drunkenly wandering around Broadway asking for help

29-year-old Crystal Ann Skinner was seen intoxicated near 4th Avenue North and Broadway in the early hours of August 27th. Concerned citizens advised officers that a white female in a white tube top, later identified as Skinner, appeared heavily intoxicated and was approaching random people, asking for help. Then, the police located Skinner and noticed she reeked of alcohol. During their investigation, they discovered that Skinner had lost her phone, could not find her friends, and did not know where she would stay for the night. Officers then offered her assistance, but she was uncooperative. Officers detained Skinner for the incident. While arresting Skinner, she pulled her body and arms away multiple times. Then, when officers escorted her to their patrol car, she started yelling at them, causing a scene. Skinner was taken into custody for disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

DUI: Delvin Vicente Requena nearly hits police car head-on while driving on wrong side of road

34-year-old Delvin-Osmar Vicente Requena drove into an oncoming traffic lane on Main Street in the early hours of August 26th. While traveling, officers observed a silver SUV, later identified as driven by Requena, moving toward their patrol car. The police report stated they attempted several times to avoid a head-on collision. After Requena passed the police car, they activated their sirens and tried initiating a traffic stop. Officers noted that Requena was slow to react but eventually pulled over. When the police approached Requena, they noticed he reeked of alcohol and showed signs of impairment. Officers tried conducting sobriety tests via language line, but they were unsuccessful. When asked, Requena could not provide them with a driver’s license and gave them his ID card. Requena eventually performed poorly on sobriety tests and was detained for the incident. Later, prior to police stopping Requena, an off-duty police officer stated that Requena drove towards him head-on, presenting disregard for the life and property of others. Requena was taken into custody for reckless driving, no driver’s license, and driving under the influence- 2nd offense.
