Then, the police spoke with Chastain, and he told them that he was “tired of being shot at with pellet guns” by passing cars. Colin Hefner assaults roommate for backing away when he attempted to hug him
36-year-old Colin Hefner had an altercation with Alberto Roman at his Bakertown Road residence on July 18th. Upon arrival, officers spoke with Alberto Roman and two witnesses. One of the witnesses said Hefner had approached Alberto and started talking to him. Alberto stated that Hefner was getting too close, so he kept backing up. Then, while Alberto and Hefner continued their conversation, Hefner attempted to hug him. Alberto responded by moving away and asking Hefner what he was doing. After this, Hefner told Alberto he was trying to hug him, then raised his hand as if he were going to punch him. Hefner said that he was playing but hit Alberto’s left eye. Hefner was then cited for the occurrence. Hefner was later booked on the citation of assault on August 13th.
Orlando Farquharson sends himself $40 from girlfriend’s bank account while she was asleep
33-year-old Orlando Farquharson transferred money from his girlfriend, Christina Barclay’s bank account on August 15th. Barclay told responding officers that while she was asleep, Farquharson took her phone and left the house. Barclay further explained that he transferred $40 from her account to a Cash app he could use while he was gone. Barclay added that Farquharson did not have access to her bank account and that she did not know how he obtained her password. Officers then interviewed Farquharson, who admitted to taking Barclay’s phone and money without her permission. Farquharson stated he could not withdraw the money because the card was locked. Farquharson added that he intended to take the cash but did not think Barclay would mind. Farquharson also noted that he had not done this before in their two-year relationship. Farquharson was taken into custody for a computer fraud violation.
Heather Mclemore found screaming & crying in roadway after using meth
38-year-old Heather Mclemore was seen sitting in the middle of Boyds Hill Top Drive on August 15th. When officers arrived, they observed Mclemore crying and screaming about her life. While officers interacted with Mclemore, they reported that she was being very incoherent and that she was acting very erratic. Mclemore was presented with the option of medical assistance, but she declined. Mclemore then confessed that she had used methamphetamine that day. Officers deemed that Mclemore was a danger to herself and others, so she was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.
Mary Beard refuses to identify herself after causing disturbance at Vanderbilt University Medical Center
36-year-old Mary Beth Beard caused a disturbance at Vanderbilt University Medical Center late August 15th. Officers were dispatched regarding a possible assault in progress. However, officers did not observe any signs of a scuffle when they arrived. Officers did notice two parties arguing, so they broke it up and interviewed them. During questioning, officers asked for their identification. One of the individuals provided their ID, while the other, later identified as Beard, did not. After this, Beard was handcuffed, searched, and taken to the Downtown Detention Center. Beard was then taken into custody for disorderly conduct on August 16th.
Eric De Basiliio jailed for attempting to take his wife’s car keys after passing out drunk at Easton Apartments
35-year-old Eric De Basiliio was found on the floor in the hallway of Easton Apartments late August 14th. Medics flagged down officers, advising them there was a man down, later identified as Eric. When the police arrived, they observed Eric getting up from the ground. Officers noted Eric reeked of alcohol and showed signs of impairment. After Eric refused medical treatment, his wife and officers tried helping him to bed. However, he decided to walk back into the parking lot, where he followed his wife and attempted to take her car keys. Eric De Basiliio was then deemed a danger to himself and was taken into custody for public intoxication on August 15th.
Firefighter Travis Keown assaults wife for walking too slow after Lainey Wilson concert, tells police “I would never hit my wife”
37-year-old Bowling Green Firefighter Travis Keown was involved in a domestic altercation with his wife, Shannon Keown, while at the Grand Ole Opry on Opryland Drive on August 14th. When officers arrived, they spoke with Shannon, who claimed she and Travis were leaving the Laney Wilson concert. As they left, they started walking back to their ride, but Travis became upset because she was walking slowly. Shannon informed officers that Travis then slapped her right arm, which caused an injury that officers observed. Officers then spoke with Travis, who told officers under Miranda that he did not slap her, as well as stated, “I would never hit my wife.” He also said that he did not recall what happened. Travis was then deemed the primary aggressor, and she was taken into custody for domestic assault on August 15th.
Lashae Lee deemed too drunk after altercation at Five Finger Death Punch concert
34-year-old Lashae Lee had an altercation with other patrons during a Five Finger Death Punch concert at Bridgestone Arena on August 14th. Responding officers detained Lee and spoke with her, during which they noticed she reeked of alcohol and showed signs of impairment. Then, officers attempted to help Lee off the premises. However, Lee told police she was trying to return to Morristown after the show. After the police realized they could not assist Lee in getting to East Tennessee, they deemed her too drunk to care for herself. Lee was then taken into custody for public intoxication on August 15th.
Porsha Huey booked after being drunk & disorderly at Dave and Buster’s
26-year-old Porsha Huey was seen publicly intoxicated and acting disorderly at Dave and Buster’s inside Opry Mills Mall on August 14th. While an officer was working an extra job at the location, Huey was identified to him as the person who was acting disorderly. Officers were then notified by a mall goer and security officer that Huey had assaulted them both. Security also stated that they asked Huey to leave, but she refused. Officers then made contact with Huey and observed many apparent indicators of intoxication. Officers deemed Huey to be a danger to herself, so she was then taken into custody for public intoxication on August 15th.
Metro Nashville Special Ed. Teacher Anna Santaniello steals $202 worth of merchandise from multiple Target stores
29-year-old Anna Santaniello, a Special Ed. teacher at Charlotte Park Elementary School in Nashville, TN, was seen shoplifting at the Target stores on White Bridge Pike and Charlotte Pike five times between January 3rd and February 21st. The stores provided law enforcement with surveillance footage of the incidents showing Santaniello not scanning items at self-checkout. On January 3rd, Santaniello was seen leaving without scanning $11.59 of merchandise. On January 7th, Santaniello left without paying for $20.99 of merchandise. On February 13th, Santaniello was seen leaving the store without paying $21.97 for merchandise. Finally, on February 21st, Santaniello failed to pay for $35 worth of merchandise. The thefts resulted in $139.55 of merchandise stolen from both Target stores. Officers identified Santaniello from the guest services reward number she entered at checkout. Her account belonged to her mother, so officers found her Facebook and driver’s license. Officers then used security footage and the newly discovered information to identify her for the crimes. Santaniello was taken into custody and charged with theft of property.
On August 14th, Officers were dispatched to the Target on White Bridge Pike for another shoplifting incident involving Santaniello. When officers arrived and spoke with a loss prevention employee, he informed them that Santaniello was caught stealing $63 worth of school supplies. The employee provided officers with a video of Santaniello attempting to leave the store with the items she didn’t pay for. After being Mirandized, Santaniello confessed that she intended to steal all the items, so she was taken into custody and charged with theft of property on August 14th.
