Mckenzie Williams strikes baby daddy in face after refusing to leave his workplace

24-year-old Mckenzie Williams had a domestic altercation with the father of her child, Christopher Paul Lapietra Jr., at his job on July 30th. Lapietra Jr. alerted the authorities, stating that Williams refused to leave. He further explained that when he called 911, Williams struck him in the face, causing his lip to bleed. He stated that after Williams had done this, she had left the scene. When officers arrived, they observed Lapietra Jr.’s injuries and were advised that he did not want to press charges. However, officers obtained a warrant for Williams’s arrest on his behalf. Williams was taken into custody for domestic assault on August 12th.

Na’Quae Daniel damages boyfriend’s car with screwdriver during argument

27-year-old Na’Quae Daniel had a domestic incident with her boyfriend, Sigmund DeJuan Gordon Jr., at the Dew Street Parking Garage on August 12th. When the officers arrived, they spoke with Daniel, who stated that she and Gordon Jr. had been at a movie theater. She stated that they then got into an argument. Then, they both returned to their residences, which are in the same apartment building. When they got there, Daniel told police that Gordon Jr. began chasing her, which forced her to use a screwdriver to defend herself.

However, Gordon Jr. told the police that Daniel approached his vehicle with a screwdriver. He stated she then attempted to use it against him. Then, Gordon Jr. said she started vandalizing his car with the tool, leaving deep scratches in response to him walking away from her. With Gordon Jr.’s help, officers located the screwdriver in the parking garage. Daniel was taken into custody for vandalism.

Local Musician Chad Alan Carson booked after allowing minor to purchase Michelob Ultra at Coyote Ugly

40-year-old Local Musician Chad Alan Carson, a Coyote Ugly employee, allowed alcohol to be sold to an undercover minor working with TABC agents at Coyote Ugly on July 29th. Carson, the bouncer, checked the minor’s ID and allowed them to enter the establishment without markings. Then, the minor was sold a 12 oz bottle of Michelob Ultra. Carson was then cited for the occurrence that day. Carson was later booked on the citation of selling alcohol to a minor on August 7th.

Isaiah Grayson threatens mother with knives during argument, tells her “I’m about to do something stupid”

18-year-old Isaiah Grayson was involved in a domestic altercation with his mother, Katrina Grayson, at their Hillshire Drive residence on August 9th. When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with Katrina, who stated that she and her son had argued over money that Isaiah believed she owed him. During the argument, Katrina claims that Isaiah had grabbed two kitchen knives, which put her in fear for her life. Officers then spoke with Isaiah, who admitted that while he had the knives, he told Katrina, “I’m about to do something stupid.” Due to the statements made by both parties, Isaiah was deemed the primary aggressor and taken into custody for aggravated assault.

Austin Lucas threatens Taco Bell manager with gun, leads police on high speed chase in Infiniti Q50

22-year-old Austin Lucas caused a disturbance at the Old Hickory Boulevard Taco Bell on July 28th. John Davis, the manager at the location, told officers that Lucas entered the establishment to pick up an order and asked for a water cup. Then, Davis further explained that he asked Lucas if he was a paying customer, which angered him. After this, Davis started video recording the incident, which caused Lucas to become more agitated. Lucas can be heard on the video saying, “Put that phone in my face again and watch how quick this Glock come out homie!” At that moment, Lucas can be seen grabbing a Glock handgun tucked in the right side of his waistband. Davis can also be heard reacting to the weapon in the video. Davis told officers that this put him in fear of bodily injury. The police identified Lucas via the footage and discovered he was currently the respondent to an order of protection that prohibited him from possessing a firearm. Arrest warrants were then issued for his arrest on August 1st.

A few days later, on August 9th, detectives observed an Infiniti Q50, Lucas’ vehicle, parked outside a Market Square Court residence. Then, they noticed a white male, later identified as Lucas, walking to the Q50 and entering the driver’s side. Officers then attempted to speak with him before he sped away from them. Detectives utilized air assets and followed the Q50 until Lucas stopped the vehicle. He then started fleeing on foot while carrying a duffle bag. Responding units set a perimeter and requested K9 units to the area. When K9 units arrived, they located Lucas hiding in a nearby storage shed, where officers detained him. During a subsequent vehicle search, detectives discovered $800 in cash, 16 Oxycodone pills, and a baggie of marijuana. Then, officers searched Lucas’s flight path and found the duffle bag, which contained multiple bags of marijuana, a digital scale, and loose plastic baggies. The total amount of marijuana was 173.5 grams. Lucas was then taken into custody for two counts of felony possession, evading arrest with a motor vehicle, evading arrest, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm with an order of protection, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon on August 11th.

Michael Solomon gets his 7th DUI after crashing into Mazda CX5 while drinking bottle of Jose Cuervo

75-year-old Michael Solomon was involved in a car crash on Robertson Parkway and Interstate Drive on August 10th. It was reported that Solomon, driving in a Volkswagen Jetta, approached stopped traffic and rear-ended a red Mazda CX5. When officers arrived, they observed that Solomon was still in the driver’s seat of his car and that his head was down as if he was sleeping. They also noticed a nearly empty bottle of Jose Cuervo in his passenger seat. Officers’ attempts to wake Solomon showed no results, so paramedics were called, and Solomon was transported to Skyline Medical Center. It was later found that Solomon didn’t have an ignition interlock device in the Volkswagen despite being required to have one and that his license was revoked from prior DUIs. Records show that Solomon had seven prior DUI cases ranging from 2002 to 2022. Solomon was later charged with driving under the influence 7th, open container violation, driving on a revoked license, and ignition interlock violation.

DUI: Aidan Hamilton spins out into ditch after 4 shots of vodka, tells police she was avoiding groundhog

21-year-old Aidan Hamilton was caught driving under the influence after being involved in a single-vehicle car accident while on River Valley Drive and Newsom Station Road on August 11th. When officers arrived on the scene, they noticed a vehicle crashed in the right ditch of Newsom Station Road. The car appeared to have left the roadway, spun out, hit a utility pole, and ended up in the ditch. Hamilton, the driver of the vehicle, had a cut to the back of her head and was checked by an on-scene medic. However, she refused to be transported to the hospital. Officers then spoke with Hamilton, who stated that she was driving from a friend’s house when she encountered a groundhog in the middle of the road. She claimed to have swerved to avoid the groundhog and crashed into the ditch.

Officers also spoke with one of the medics, who informed them that Hamilton had a smell of alcohol coming from her breath. Hamilton was then asked to perform sobriety tests, which she accepted. Hamilton was then transported to a nearby gas station on McCrory Lane to perform the tests. Hamilton performed poorly on all tests given, and when performing the tests, officers could smell the odor of alcohol coming from her breath. Officers deemed Hamilton to be intoxicated due to the accident, the smell of alcohol, and the performance of sobriety tests, so she was then detained. Under Miranda, Hamilton admitted to officers that she had four shots of vodka around 10 p.m. on the previous day, which was 7-8 hours before her accident. Hamilton was then taken into custody for DUI.

DUI: Mason Hart crashes car on I-24, tells officers “none” when asked if he had drank alcohol

26-year-old Mason Hart was involved in a car crash on I-24 near mile marker 49 on August 10th. When officers arrived and made contact with Hart, they noticed that his eyes were bloodshot. Hart was then questioned if he had drunk any alcohol. He then informed officers that he had consumed “none.” Officers administered field sobriety tests to Hart, which he performed poorly on. Hart was then taken into custody and informed about implied consent. After denying implied consent, a search warrant was obtained. Hart was transported to a hospital for a blood draw and charged with driving under the influence and implied consent violation.

Corey Moore grabs girlfriend by throat & destroys her work laptop during argument

44-year-old Corey Moore had a domestic incident with his girlfriend, Arnetta Williams, at their British Woods Drive residence on August 11th. Williams told responding officers that she and Moore had a verbal altercation. She stated the argument escalated when he pulled her hair and grabbed her by the throat. Williams further explained that she got away from Moore after punching him in the face. Then, she added that Moore destroyed her work laptop during the dispute. Williams told officers that she wanted to press charges for the occurrence. Moore was then taken into custody for domestic assault and vandalism.
