Alejandra Martinez Perez booked after selling pineapple mimosa to minor at Waffle Taco

25-year-old Alejandra Perez sold a minor a pineapple mimosa at Waffle Taco on Bell Road on June 26th. Officers were conducting an operation to ensure Waffle Taco was checking for ID before selling alcohol. During this, Undercover detectives observed Perez serve a pineapple mimosa to a minor. Law enforcement cited her for the violation that day. Perez was booked on the citation of sale of alcohol to a minor on July 30th. Perez was has a history of selling alcohol to minors, including an incident in December 2023.

Lekevia Cheairs booked for speeding down I-24 weaving between cars in her Nissan Sentra

26-year-old Lekevia Cheairs was speeding in her black Nissan Sentra on I-24 on July 4th. Officers observed her speeding as well as weaving in and out of traffic. Officers then waited until she pulled into a residence on Shagbark Trail and detained her. Officers cited her for the violation that day. Cheairs was later booked on the citation of reckless driving on July 30th.

Rodriquez Howard tells officers he has no one to care for him while drinking at Shell Gas Station

38-year-old Rodriquez Howard was seen publicly intoxicated while at a Shell gas station on Hermitage Avenue on August 1st. Officers on patrol observed Howard outside the gas station with a 24oz alcoholic beverage in his hand. Officers then approached Howard to speak with him. Upon speaking with Howard, officers noticed his slurred speech. Officers also noticed his inability to maintain his balance and the smell of alcohol coming from him. Howard told officers that he was drinking and that he had no one to care for him. Officers deemed Howard a threat to himself, and he was then taken into custody for public intoxication.

Joel Torres holds up traffic on I-24 West by recording fatal car crash on his phone

61-year-old Joel Segarra Torres was holding up traffic on I-24 West ramp Exit 62 in the early hours of July 2nd. Responding officers were processing a fatal crash when they observed Torres obstructing traffic. Officers observed Torres using his phone to record the incident. When officers asked Torres for his license, he provided a Puerto Rican driver’s license. Using his information, officers discovered Torres’ Tennessee driver’s license had been revoked. He was then cited for the incident that day. Torres was later booked on the citation of obstructing a passageway on July 30th.

Trevor Willis threatens Chick-Fil-A employees with gun for being closed, tells them “Don’t make me come in there!”

29-year-old Trevor Willis caused a disturbance at Chick-fil-A on Highway 70 South late July 13th. Officers were dispatched to the establishment following a robbery alarm. Officers were advised that an individual, later identified as Willis, was being disorderly and had a gun. Employees described him as a skinny black male in a silver vehicle with dark clothing. Then, responding officers located Willis and detained him for the occurrence. After this, the police spoke with Deion Bentley King, a Chick-fil-A employee, who stated that Willis pulled up to the drive-thru window to place an order. Willis was told his order could not be completed because they were closed, which upset him. Then, King explained that Willis started arguing, telling him, “Don’t make me come in there.” King said that Willis exited his vehicle, pulled his pants up, reached down his left pocket, and pulled out a gun that he immediately dropped, saying, “You got lucky,” before retrieving it. Then, King told Willis they would bring him his order. Despite this, Willis continued circling the business and pulling on the doors after employees locked them. Officers reviewed video footage from the location, corroborating King’s statements, and cited Willis for the incident. Willis was later booked on the citation of disorderly conduct on July 29th.

Adam Stinson stabs brother’s car, pours Gatorade on his new couch during argument

19-year-old Adam Stinson had had a domestic disturbance with his brother, Logan Stinson, at their Highmeadows Court residence on August 1st. Adam told responding officers that he and Logan had disagreements over several months. Then, Adam said that Logan had ordered a new couch for their residence, but Logan was supposed to pay him for a trip that had not happened. Adam explained that he got angry when the sofa was delivered and poured Gatorade onto it. Then, Adam told officers he went to his room because he did not want to physically fight with Logan. After this, Adam stated that he overheard Logan and their mother talking about him outside, which made him angry. Adam then grabbed a knife from his room, went outside, and hit Logan’s vehicle with it multiple times. This left large gouges in the car’s hood, causing nearly $1,400 in damages. Adam Stinson was taken into custody for vandalism.

DUI: Aubrey Hawes brakes after seeing cops while swerving between lanes on I-24

28-year-old Aubrey Chase Hawes was observed speeding on I-24 in the early hours of August 1st. Officers noticed Hawes going 75 mph while changing lanes. Then, when Hawes saw the police, he tried to brake at the last minute. However, officers initiated a traffic stop, and Hawes pulled over to the right shoulder. Officers approached the passenger side and asked Hawes for his driver’s license. As they did this, they smelled a strong alcoholic odor emitting from the vehicle. Officers then prompted Hawes with sobriety tests. Hawes consented and performed poorly on the tests. During pre-field test questioning, Hawes admitted to drinking before driving. Hawes was then taken into custody for driving under the influence.

Tina Finney flees police officers after being suspected of helping person escape arrest

78-year-old Tina Finney was suspected of aiding an individual with a warrant to escape arrest on August 1st. Officers located Finney driving and conducted an investigational stop. After police activated their lights, Finney disregarded them and continued driving down Old Hickory Boulevard. Finney continued to ignore officers until she turned onto Plantation Drive. Then, she turned on her 4-way flashers but kept driving until she reached her Bonnafield Drive residence. Officers then approached the vehicle and asked Finney to exit, which she did. However, when officers grabbed her wrist to detain her, she tensed up. After a brief struggle, officers arrested her. Finney was taken into custody for evading arrest by motor vehicle and resisting arrest. 

Wafeek Habib caught with fake international driver’s license, tells officers his friend made it for him

38-year-old Wafeek Habib was driving down Murfreesboro Pike with no lights on his vehicle on late July 5th. Officers observed this and initiated a traffic stop at the Mount View Road and Murfreesboro Pike intersection. During the stop, they asked Habib for his driver’s credentials. Habib gave officers an international driver’s license, stating he was born in the United States despite his telling them he was born in Egypt. Then, when police questioned him about where the driver’s license was issued, he told them that he had not received it from a government agency but that a friend made it for him. Habib further explained that he had been a resident of the US for about six months and had never obtained a driver’s license. Officers seized his false international license for evidence and cited him for the incident. Habib was later booked on the citation of using false identification on July 30th.

Brian Pap assaults girlfriend during altercation, tells police his injuries were from “packing”

45-year-old Brian Pap had a domestic altercation with his girlfriend, Anna Albrecht, on August 1st. Officers observed Pap and conducted a stop. During this, they noticed Pap had blood on his shirt, bruising on his hands and right foot. Pap told officers that the injuries came from “packing” before denying having a scuffle with Albrecht. Officers saw that Albrecht had two red marks on her neck, inconsistent with their statements. A witness advised the police that Pap and Albrecht were physically fighting, adding that Pap was the primary aggressor. Pap was then taken into custody for domestic assault.
