Paula Wheeler resists arrest after refusing to leave Thompson Nashville hotel

55-year-old Paula Jean Wheeler caused a disturbance at Thompson Nashville on 11th Avenue South late July 28th. Before officers arrived, they confirmed that the establishment had a valid trespass waiver on file. When officers responded to the hotel, they observed Wheeler in the lobby. Wheeler left the lobby and met with officers. Then, officers spoke with hotel security, who stated that Wheeler had entered the business and stayed for an extended amount of time before they asked if she was a guest. Wheeler told staff she wasn’t a guest and refused to leave the property. They added that when Wheeler became verbally aggressive, they alerted the authorities. Security further explained that Wheeler had left before the police arrived.
Then, about 20 minutes after the officers left, security said that Wheeler returned and was disorderly once again. While officers investigated, Wheeler was loud and uncooperative towards them. Wheeler initially refused to provide police with her information but eventually told them her name. However, when officers asked her for her social security number, she became agitated. Wheeler attempted to leave despite being told she was not free to. Then, the police tried to detain her, during which she tensed up and did not put her hands behind her back until they could handcuff her. Wheeler was taken into custody for criminal trespass and resisting arrest on July 29th.

Sheila Hill scratches & kicks police officers while resisting arrest at Nashville International Airport

49-year-old Sheila Hill was spotted resisting arrest while intoxicated at the Nashville International Airport on July 28th. Officers were called in response to a woman who seemed to be in distress. When they arrived, they found Hill, who appeared to be intoxicated, with red, watery eyes, slurred speech, and the smell of alcohol on her breath. Despite officers deeming Hill able to continue with her plans as she did not require their assistance, airport staff informed them that she had been denied boarding due to appearing heavily intoxicated. Hill, now not having a scheduled flight that day, was asked to leave the airport’s secure area. As Hill and the officers were walking towards the exit, she became aggressive, using foul language, making repetitive statements, and loudly questioning the officers.

Hill then began screaming, disrupting the activities of nearby businesses. The officers informed Hill that she was being arrested for public intoxication. Despite this, Hill started resisting, but officers were eventually able to handcuff her. Hill resisted further by dropping her weight, kicking at the officers, scratching them with her nails, and trying to pull away. Throughout the encounter, Hill refused to walk, go downstairs, or get into patrol vehicles. When she was placed inside the officer’s patrol vehicle, she began kicking the windows and hitting her head against the vehicle. Hill was then taken into custody and later charged with public intoxication, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.

Shanecia Mitchell steals $70 worth of items from Walmart

18-year-old Shanecia Mitchell stole from the Nolensville Pike Walmart on May 13th. The police report stated that Mitchell concealed merchandise inside her purse and tried exiting the establishment without paying for the $70.68 worth of items. Detectives obtained video footage from the location and later identified Mitchell as the person in question. A warrant was issued for her arrest on June 5th. Mitchell was later taken into custody for theft on July 28th.

Musician “D.D. Star” gets hotels mixed up after drunkenly asking officers for help at Whiskey Bent Saloon – Dylan David Graff

23-year-old Lead Guitarist/Vocalist of Zenora, D.D. Star aka Dylan David Graff showed signs of impairment at Whiskey Bent Saloon in the early hours of July 28th. Graff alerted the authorities regarding his phone being stolen. When officers arrived, they received all the necessary information from Graff to complete the report. After this, officers asked him where he was staying for the night, to which he responded by stating two different hotels, The Motel 6 and The Super 8. Graff added that he was unsure which one but that it was next to Waffle House. Then, Graff told officers two different room numbers. In addition, Graff advised officers that he did not have a room key on him. The police noticed that Graff reeked of alcohol and was visibly intoxicated during their conversation. Graff was deemed a danger to himself and was placed into custody for public intoxication.

Jordan Shane drunkenly yells at rideshare driver, tells police he was staying at the “Virgins Hotel”

38-year-old Jordan Shane caused a disturbance on Broadway late July 27th. Patrolling officers came across Shane, who was visibly intoxicated, raising his voice at a rideshare driver, making a scene. When police asked Shane what was happening, he told them he was trying to return to his hotel. Shane said he was staying at the “L Hotel” and later stated he was staying at the “Virgins Hotel.” During their interaction, officers noticed he reeked of alcohol and repeatedly closed his eyes before falling asleep. Shane added that he was in town alone and had no phone to call anyone. Shane was deemed a danger to himself and was detained for the occurrence. While being transferred to DCSO custody, they searched Shane and found Adderall pills. Shane was then jailed for public intoxication and contraband in a Penal institution.

Tevin Golden found drunk & unable to walk outside D&K Menswear

30-year-old Tevin Golden was found sitting in a travel lane near the Hickory Hollow Parkway D&K Menswear shortly after midnight on July 27th. Officers approached and noticed he had several cuts on his face. Golden told officers he had fallen on the ground when asked what happened. Officers offered Golden medical treatment, but he repeatedly refused. During their interaction, officers noticed he reeked of alcohol and was falling over while trying to walk. Golden became uncooperative with officers’ questioning regarding getting him to a safe place. Golden was deemed unable to care for himself and was taken into custody for public intoxication.

DUI: Jamee Crowe crashes into parked car after drinking two “very large” margaritas

27-year-old Jamee David Crowe crashed her car into a parked vehicle at the Monroe Crossing townhouses on July 26th. When officers arrived, they spoke with Crowe, who stated she had consumed one alcoholic beverage about six hours before the collision. During their interaction, officers noticed she reeked of alcohol and showed signs of impairment. Crowe consented to sobriety tests, performed poorly, and later advised that she had two “very large” margaritas. When she was informed of implied consent, she refused to provide a chemical sample and was then detained for the occurrence. Crowe was taken into custody for driving under the influence and an implied consent violation on July 27th.

Antonio Barrios punches drunk wife in face at Margaritaville Hotel

35-year-old Antonio Barrios had a domestic incident with his wife, Julie Rodriguez, inside the Margaritaville Hotel bar late July 26th. Responding officers spoke with Barrios and noticed he reeked of alcohol as he admitted to having a physical altercation with Rodriguez. Then, officers reviewed surveillance footage showing Barrios puffing out his chest and getting in Rodriguez’s face. After this, Rodriguez slapped him in the face in self-defense, to which Barrios responded by punching her in the face. Then, officers spoke with Rodriguez, who was visibly intoxicated, and advised them that she remembered being punched in the face by Barrios. Barrios was then taken into custody for domestic assault.

Finance Bro Wake Warthen II threatens to shoot Uber driver for driving too slow in traffic

25-year-old Wake Warthen II, an entrepreneur and co-founder of Ozone Media Group, had an altercation with an Uber driver, Juan Alberto Ayala Villasenor, near the 6th Avenue South and Lafayette Street intersection late July 27th. Ayala Villasenor told responding officers he was driving in a slow traffic lane when Warthen II, who was driving separately, had become irate. Ayala Villasenor then stated that Warthen II pulled around his vehicle and stopped in front of him. Ayala Villasenor then pulled around to pass Warthen II’s vehicle. In response, Warthen II brandished and racked the slide of his handgun while yelling at him. After this, Ayala Villasenor said Warthen II pulled into a nearby alley, exited his vehicle with the gun, and pointed it at him, putting him in fear of bodily injury.  He added that Warthen II returned to his car and left the scene.

Ayala Villasenor was driving a Tesla with cameras that captured the incident. Officers reviewed the footage, which showed Warthen II’s face clearly as he displayed the firearm and returned to his dark grey Mercedes Benz. After this, the police confirmed Warthen II as the vehicle owner and eventually located his Benz in the Sentral Sobro apartment parking lot. Upon inspection of the car, officers found Warthen II’s Versace glasses, which he was wearing in the footage, on the passenger seat. Officers also found the handgun in question between the center console and the driver’s seat. While officers were waiting to impound his Mercedes, Warthen II returned to the parking lot and was detained for the occurrence. Warthen II was then taken into custody for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

William McKeague assaults wife during altercation, leaves her with bloody nose on Broadway

58-year-old William McKeague had a domestic altercation with his wife, Marisela McKeague, near 3rd Avenue North and Broadway on July 26th. Responding officers spoke with THP Troopers, who stated that they detained Mr. McKeague after they noticed Mrs. McKeague with a bloody nose. Then, the police interviewed witnesses, including nearby security guards, who said they saw Mr. McKeague shove Mrs. McKeague. When officers spoke with Mrs. McKeague, she told officers that Mr. McKeague was being escorted by security and that she believed that he unintentionally hit her in the face during the struggle. Mrs. McKeague stated this is what left lacerations on her nose. Mr. McKeague was then taken into custody for domestic assault.
