Robert Hunt grabs, scratches, & throws pregnant woman on ground during altercation

29-year-old Robert Hunt was involved in a domestic altercation with Ayanna Saafir, a pregnant woman, on July 13th. On July 15th, officers visited The Family Safety Center on Murfreesboro Pike and spoke with Saafir. Saafir told officers that on July 13th, Hunt became physical with her. Saafir stated that Hunt grabbed, scratched, and threw her around the house. She stated this resulted in her having to go to the hospital due to her being pregnant and having contractions. Saafir also informed officers that the bruising on her right arm and wrist was from Hunt being physical to her. Saafir also claimed that on the 14th, the following day, when she returned from the hospital, Hunt once again became physical. Saafir stated Hunt pushed her to the kitchen floor, causing visible bruising to her left arm. Officers observed these injuries, which were consistent with the statements made. Hunt was then deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for domestic assault on July 15th.

DUI: Floyd Foreman crashes into several vehicles, gets himself stuck on hill after overdosing

61-year-old Floyd Foreman crashed his white pickup truck near Nolensville Pike and Burkitt Road on June 12th. Foreman suddenly reversed into several vehicles and then went up a steep hill, where he got stuck. When officers arrived, medics advised them that Foreman needed two doses of Narcan to wake up. Foreman denied taking any drugs and struggled to answer questions in the back of the ambulance. Then, he was transported to Southern Hills Hospital. Foreman told officers he fell asleep and believed he was parking when the crash occurred. He then agreed to provide a chemical sample and was cited for the incident that day. Foreman was later booked on the citation of driving under the influence on July 9th.

Alexa Rose Zuroff punches roommate’s door, threatens her during argument

33-year-old Alexa Rose Zuroff had a domestic altercation with her roommate, Ariana Zuroff, at their 26th Avenue North apartment on July 17th. Upon arrival, officers spoke with Ariana, who stated she returned home to check on Alexa after receiving concerning text messages. Then, Ariana said, when she approached Alexa, an argument ensued. During the argument, Alexa shouted threats and expletives. During this, Ariana locked herself in the bedroom. Alexa then tried forcing open the bedroom door but could not. Ariana told the police that this placed her in fear of being attacked. When officers spoke with Alexa, she admitted to punching Ariana’s door. Then, Alexa Zuroff was taken into custody for domestic assault.

Alisha Jordan violates order of protection visiting ex-intimate partner’s home

35-year-old Alisha Jordan was seen violating her order of protection after making contact with her ex-intimate partner, George Haynie, on July 13th. Alisha spoke with officers over the phone, expressing her desire to take her daughter to Murfreesboro. During the call, they overheard Haynie mentioning Alisha’s alleged drug problems and an existing order of protection against her. Haynie and Alisha had a romantic relationship and lived together for eight years. Officers noted that there were no instances of violence or physical altercations between them. When officers arrived, they spoke with Jordan, who admitted to being inside the residence and making breakfast. Officers then confirmed there was an active order of protection. Alisha was then taken into custody for violating the order of protection.

Nikki Martin punches woman in head multiple times during altercation

46-year-old Nikki Martin was involved in an altercation with Dana Roland on March 23rd, 2022. Authorities received a call from Roland’s sister, Jodie Ukrakpor, saying that she got a disturbing call from Roland. While Roland and Martin were on their way home from an errand, Roland told Martin something about her relationship that she didn’t like. Martin then punched her in the head numerous times. Dana was transported to the hospital to get treated for a broken nose and a concussion. Martin was taken into custody for aggravated assault on July 14th.

Samuel Mustapha steals $24 pack of Corona beer from MAPCO

24-year-old Samuel Nmn Mustapha shoplifted at the Linbar Drive MAPCO on July 14th. Cedrick Newman, who alerted the authorities, told responding officers that Mustapha grabbed a 24-pack of Coronas and fled from the store without paying. He added that the beers cost about $24 and that he found Mustapha in the bushes behind the location. When officers approached, Mustapha ran from them until they captured him on Wallace Road near F and N Arms. Mustapha was then taken into custody for theft and evading arrest.

DUI: Joespeh Mark Hullender found drunk & drooling in his red pickup truck

45-year-old Joespeh Mark Hullender caused a disturbance on July 17th. Responding officers observed him sleeping in the driver’s seat of a red pickup truck. Officers approached him and noticed an open alcoholic beverage in the middle console. Then, officers woke him up and asked him to exit the vehicle. Once he complied, he showed signs of intoxication and was drooling from his chin. Hullender then disregarded their additional questions about whether he drank or not. Hullender refused to take sobriety tests, prompting officers to detain him. During a subsequent search, police discovered several open, empty alcohol containers. Due to Hullender’s intoxication level, he could not tell officers if he would provide a chemical sample or not. This prompted officers to obtain a warrant for a blood draw. After Hullender was transported to Nashville General Hospital, he was taken into custody for driving under the influence.

DUI: Jose Miranda swerves on I-24 East, tells police he was “just trying to make it home”

54-year-old Jose Miranda was seen failing to maintain his lane on I-24 East on July 14th. Officers observed this and conducted a traffic stop. When officers attempted to approach the vehicle, Miranda started driving again before stopping a few feet from where he was parked. Officers approached the car again and made Miranda roll his window down so they could place his vehicle in park. While doing this, officers observed that Miranda smelt of alcohol and exhibited signs of intoxication. Officers then asked Miranda to step out of his car so they could transport him to a well-lit parking lot. Once there, officers asked Miranda to perform sobriety tests, which he consented to. Miranda then admitted that he had two beers and was “Just trying to make it home.” Miranda also informed officers about an injury to his leg. Miranda showed multiple signs of impairment, so he was taken into custody. While in custody, officers found that he had no driver’s license and identified him by his passport. Miranda was transported to booking and charged with driving under the influence and driving without a driver’s license.

DUI: Lusvin Monzon passes out drunk in his car at Rolling Hills Apartment Complex

29-year-old Lusvin Monzon was seen sleeping inside his car in the middle of the Rolling Hills apartment complex parking lot at 3 a.m. on July 14th. While officers attempted to wake him up, they observed open containers of alcohol inside the vehicle, one of which was empty. Field sobriety tests were administered, and Monzon showcased several signs of impairment. Officers read Monzon implied consent, but he denied it. Monzon was taken into custody and charged with implied consent violation, driving under the influence, and driving with an open container of alcohol.

Rony Monterroso stabs roommate’s door after accusing him of stealing his money

23-year-old Rony Monterroso was involved in a domestic altercation with one of his roommates, Jose Ico, at their Towne Village Road residence on July 13th. Officers were called there regarding a dispute involving a man with a knife. When officers arrived, they separated all parties and interviewed them. Officers spoke with Ico, who stated that he and his brother were attempting to break up a fight between Monterroso and another roommate. Ico had informed officers that Monterroso had accused him and his brother of stealing money from him and attempted to start a fight with them. During the altercation, Ico and his brother were able to get Monterroso out of their bedroom then shut and locked the door. Monterroso proceeded to go to the kitchen, grab a kitchen knife, and start stabbing the door. Monterroso stabbed the door three times, and on the third, the knife became lodged in the door. Monterroso then attempted to remove the knife from the door but injured himself in the process. Ico and his brother were unharmed during the incident. Due to the statements made, Monterroso was deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for domestic assault on July 14th.
