Jesse Graves charged after strangling his girlfriend at Piccadilly Apartments

26-year-old Jesse Scott Graves was involved in a domestic altercation with his girlfriend, Ashley Case, at Windsor Green Boulevard on the afternoon of November 24th. Graves spoke with officers and advised that he wanted Case to leave the residence, although she had been staying there. Case left before officers arrived, but they were able to find her at the pool area of the apartment complex. She was reluctant to state how she had sustained her visible injuries but told officers that Graves had tried to strangle her and that the incident had taken place two days before. Graves was taken into custody for strangulation and domestic assault.

Kielii Chacon charged with DUI after early morning crash

21-year-old Kielii Chacon crashed her vehicle into another at the Briley Parkway entrance ramp to I-65 just after 6 a.m. Monday. Police say she drove her black hatchback into a Honda Civic, despite her claiming the other vehicle struck her. She was visibly intoxicated during the investigation and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. She was taken into custody and charged with DUI. A search of her vehicle revealed a small glass pipe with marijuana residue.

Lisa Hawkins charged after being caught with liquor in her purse

53-year-old Lisa Hawkins was at the Wal-Mart in west Nashville on November 24th when officers were dispatched regarding an unrelated trespassing incident. She was visibly intoxicated as officers were interacting with the other suspect and consented to a search, which yielded a half-empty bottle of liquor in her purse. Hawkins could clearly not take care of herself, so she was taken into custody for public intoxication.

Tuan Le too drunk to escape flipped vehicle

59-year-old Tuan Le was involved in a car accident on James Street in the early hours of November 23rd. Officers arrived and noticed a black Toyota sedan, upside down, blocking the roadway. The car collided with the cement drainage area by the residence’s front lawn. Residents came out and found Le in the driver seat of the rolled-over vehicle, and as they cut the seatbelt to release him from the car, they could see he was visibly intoxicated. Le spoke with officers and told them that he had one beer, that he was coming from a friend’s house, and that he was on the phone when he crashed into the cement drainage system. He consented to sobriety tests, performed poorly, and was taken into custody for driving under the influence.

Emma Andrews argues with mother’s boyfriend, breaks his phone

18-year-old Emma Lashay Andrews was involved in a domestic dispute with her mother’s boyfriend, Adrian Fleming, at the apartments on Country Drive in the afternoon hours of December 4th. Fleming advised officers that the incident carried over from a verbal argument the night before. He stated that Andrews grabbed his iPhone 12 and slammed it twice on the ground. Officers observed the damaged phone, and Andrews admitted to breaking it. Andrews was taken into custody for vandalism.

Landon Hale drunkenly brings two loaded guns into Waffle House

23-year-old Landon Hale was at Waffle House holding his gun out in his hand in the early hours of December 4th. Officers arrived, noticed Hale matched the description, and detained him. Hale was visibly intoxicated, as they could smell the odor of alcohol when he spoke. Officers observed the magazine end of a firearm sticking out of Hale’s pocket, searched him, and located two loaded guns. Hale was Mirandized and then admitted to drinking alcohol earlier and owning the two firearms. Witnesses advised he was not pointing the gun or threatening anyone but was holding it out in his hand. Hale was taken into custody for public intoxication and being in possession of a weapon while under the influence.

Christopher Hooper punches man multiple times during argument at Titans game

36-year-old Christopher Hooper, a Tennessee City Fire Department Firefighter, was involved in a scuffle with Hunter Brown Shirk at Titans Way, inside the stadium near gate 7 on December 3rd. Security from the stadium spoke with Shirk, who advised he and Hooper were arguing, so he went to get security, but Hooper followed and sucker-punched him in the nose, causing him to fall as he continued punching him in the face. The medical staff on-site treated Shirk and stated his nose might be broken. There was a witness who confirmed Shirk’s statements, and the stadium captured footage as well. Hooper was taken into custody for assault.
