Police say 23-year-old Jayla Wiggins pushed her past the father of her child as he stood at the front door of his home in an effort to retrieve the child from the inside. In an attempt to restrain her from entering his residence, the victim, Segmund Gordon, Jr., sustained injuries to his arms, hands, and chest. 18-year-old Xania Huges was taken into custody on an assortment of felony and misdemeanor warrants stemming from a Christmas day incident. Police say her relationship with Rodney Douglas had ended in November, and on Christmas Day she wanted to retrieve her things from his home. He explained it wasn’t a good time, as he was with his current girlfriend, Jasmine Easley, for the holidays. Undeterred, Xiana showed up and became immediately irate, letting herself into the home via the back door, and walked in on the family opening gifts with children present. She destroyed the inside of the home, pulled her ex-boyfriend’s hair, punched him in his face and body, bit him on the bicep, and threatened him with a kitchen knife.

As Douglas and Easely pushed her out of the home, she began a second round of physical attacks. She then attacks them, their home, and their vehicle, with rocks and other objects. The vehicle suffered extensive damage to the windshield, mirrors, and body damage on all sides and panels. She then rips the mailbox off the base and tosses it at the home. She then got in her car to flee, but not before she attempted to drive into her ex-boyfriend using her car. Several neighbors recorded the entire incident on phones and doorbell cameras.

19-year-old T’Shawn Palton faces felony aggravated burglary and felony theft charges after his neighbors at the apartment directly above him reported their 65″ television, Macbook, and white Xbox One were missing when they came home. Stalking: Woman breaks into ex-boyfriend’s home; is bitten by his dog — Carla Hilliard

49-year-old Carla Hilliard was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Saturday on multiple outstanding warrants related to the stalking of her ex-lover, Ronnie Perfect. The couple ended the relationship in late September, and since that time Hilliard has continued to stalk and harass 60-year-old Ronnie Perfect. Some of the incidents include her showing up at his home and work and refusing to leave, she then used a heavy marker to write “Fa***t Loser” on the hood of his vehicle at his workplace.

Most recently she broke into his home, chased him through the residence, and only fled after his dog bit her, leaving a trail of blood on her way out. She is free on a $5,000 bond.

East Nashville man’s “acquaintance” kicks in door, threatens family, refuses to leave — Michael Bland arrested

23-year-old Michael Bland (Mikey) was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Tuesday on outstanding warrants from August, charging him with felony aggravated burglary and assault. The incident occurred in East Nashville when he reportedly kicked in the read door of Brian Scott, who is described as an “acquaintance” and refused to leave, and made threats toward the victim and his family as Brain Scott physically removed him from the home.

Brian could only tell the police he knew him as “Mikey”, and police were later able to determine his identity through investigation. Mikey Bland is jailed in lieu of a $26,000 bond.

Man charged in brutal beating of neighbor who he says used derogatory slur — Bruce Kelly

28-year-old Bruce Kelly was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on December 23rd after he brutally beat up his neighbor who he says offended him by using derogatory slurs about sexual orientation.

Kelly reportedly overheard his neighbor, Zachary Rose, make statements he was uncomfortable with and followed him up the steps and into the victim’s apartment, where he allegedly pushed him to the ground, got on top of him, and repeatedly punched him in the face multiple times. When interviewed, Kelly stated: “I don’t really remember what happened, I beat him up though”. Kelly is charged with aggravated burglary and assault and is jailed in lieu of a $4,500 bond.
