Clowes was deemed a danger to herself and was taken into custody for public intoxication.

Brandon Swanson deemed too drunk for Nashville International Airport

52-year-old Brandon Swanson was taken into custody for public intoxication on May 21st. Officers were called for a welfare check on a passenger, later identified as Swanson, who was bumping into others and struggling to stand while waiting in line for the TSA checkpoint before flying. When officers arrived, they located and questioned Swanson, during which he was swaying back and forth. Swanson reeked of alcohol as he told them he had drank earlier that morning. When officers asked Swanson to provide his identification, he dropped it as he handed it to them, having to get on his hands and knees to not fall over while picking it up. Swanson was told he could not fly due to his level of intoxication and had to rebook for a later flight. Then, while attempting to walk to another area of the airport, Swanson stumbled backward into a door, so officers deemed him unable to care for himself. Swanson was detained for the occurrence.
