In April of 2020, Jarrell Dunnigan says his ex-girlfriend, 32-year-old Dascia Turner, drove into the parking lot of his apartment complex on Glastonbury Drive in her blue Nissan sedan. She proceeded to drive into his 2006 Mercury vehicle, striking the passenger side. She then exited her car, walked to the front of his Mercury, grabbed the center grill, and ripped it from his vehicle. A warrant for vandalism was issued for her arrest. She was booked on the outstanding warrant this week.

Nashville woman charged with felony burglary for pushing out $110 from Walmart
23-year-old Thomesha Pointer now faces a felony burglary charge after Metro Nashville Police responded to the Dickerson Pike Walmart on June 7th, where loss prevention had observed Pointer put $110.97 worth of merchandise in a shopping cart and push it past all points of sale without paying for it. Loss prevention provided MNPD with a trespass notice, which Pointer had signed on March 18th, for all Walmart properties, which elevated the charge from petty theft to felony burglary.
Ben George charged with stealing neighbor’s mattress in the Gulch
46-year-old Ben George was jailed this week on an outstanding warrant charging him with felony theft. Security video from the Infinity Lofts in the Gulch Apartments shows him taking a Nectar Mattress which was delivered to the mailroom and addressed to another resident in the building. The stolen mattress was valued at $1,200.
Tourist Danielle Jones charged after calling family member a “Fat B-tch” & assaulting her
32-year-old Danielle Jones was jailed on her trip to Nashville this weekend, as she was charged with domestic assault after police say she called Kaityln Jones a “Fat Bit-h” and slammed her to the ground, resulting in a scrape to her shin. Danielle admitted to the assault, but denied the assault caused the injury.
Darius Perry says he’s “sorry” about firing handgun into apartment above
21-year-old Darius Perry was in an argument with a female at the Burning Tree Apartments when he brandished a handgun, pointed it at the ceiling, and fired it into the apartment above, which was occupied. He stated “sorry” as he fled before police arrived. He was taken into custody later that same evening. Darius D. Perry, of Panorama Drive in Nashville, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on June 5th, charged with reckless endangerment. He is free on a $2,500 bond.
Travis Hofelich too drunk for Tin Roof Bar in downtown Nashville #Arrested
Metro Nashville Police were dispatched to Tin Roof Broadway to find 27-year-old Travis Hofelich causing a disturbance and being asked to leave the bar. He was extremely intoxicated and visibly annoying those in the area and was deemed unable to care for himself. He was charged with public intoxication and transported to booking.
James Tyler Smith charged with assault of ex-boyfriend in Antioch
Moises Hernández says he was in an argument with his ex-boyfriend, and current roommate, 23-year-old James Smith on Friday in Nashville, which was witnessed by another roommate, who is Hernández’s brother. Once the brother intervened and attempted to calm things down, Smith became angry and reportedly put his hand in Hernández’s face and pushed him, leaving him with a small laceration and bleeding.
John May charged after fight outside Tootsies in downtown Nashville
29-year-old John May was involved in a fight outside Tootsies on Broadway in downtown Nashville Friday. When Metro Nashville Police arrived, the other party did not want to prosecute for the assault, however, May was charged with disorderly conduct for causing the disturbance and transported to booking.
Trevor Fallen goes to jail after ignoring MNPD officers, crossing street in downtown Nashville
A traffic officer working the downtown Nashville Entertainment District told 26-year-old Trevor Fallen to not walk into the roadway Friday evening at the intersection of 5th & Broadway, yet he continued to do so. Metro Nashville Police Officer Randall also advised Fallon it was unsafe to currently cross the roadway and was also ignored. Once contact was made with Fallon, police say it was obvious he was too intoxicated to care for himself, and he was transported to booking for public intoxication. Jennifer Cotto burglarized a dead man’s home, used his bank cards on a shopping spree
Robert Taylor, Jr., was found dead at his Rosebank Ave home in East Nashville on May 27th. His friend & employer noticed that days after his death, someone was using his bank cards. Detectives reviewed security footage from the home and found that 29-year-old Jennifer Cotto used a pry bar to enter the deceased man’s home, and she was also seen on footage from a local Walgreens using one of his cards. During an interview, she admitted to breaking into the home and stealing his cards to make purchases with.
