Security at Courtyard by Marriott Nashville at Opryland says they made 32-year-old Travis Black aware that his vehicle had been broken into as he returned to the hotel with his girlfriend, via an Uber. He then became belligerent, went to his hotel room and returned with a guitar bag and pulled an AR-15 from it, and told them “someone with a badge” would get shot.

DUI: “Do Thang” arrested after “doing his thing” outside a Nashville Home
Metro Police responded to Raywood Lane after a citizen called in to report a car with a person inside had been parked in front of their home for several hours. Police identified 35-year-old Do Thang inside the vehicle with the keys in the ignition, his belt undone, and his pants unzipped. Officer reported he had snot running down his face and was extremely intoxicated with three open Clubtails Sunny Margarita Cans visible in the car.
DUI: Woman had ‘2 Long Island Teas’ before blowing 0.177 BAC — Patricia Herbert arrested
53-year-old Patricia Herbert told police she had two Long Island Iced Teas before driving in the early hours of Sunday when she crashed near Union Bridge Rd & Sneed Rd. Officers say she was instead on her feet and had slurred speech, and she would eventually blow a 0.177% BAC on a breathalyzer.
Local man charged in Honky Tonk Central fight — Kevin Jones arrested
30-year-old Kevin Jones was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail early Sunday morning after a fight at Honky Tonk Central on Broadway in downtown Nashville. Police say after they separated the dueling parties Jones continued to attempt to strike the other person. Jones was taken into custody.
Florida tourist charged in assault at downtown Nashville bar — Robert Hurwitz
20-year-old Robert Mitchell Hurwitz is charged with strangling Jacob Cox at Jason Aldean’s bar in downtown Nashville Sunday. Police ordered him to stop, but he continued the assault as they approached. Police to Hurwitz, who is visiting from Florida, into custody and transported him to booking.
Man charged with punching out $12K custom window in downtown Nashville — Justin Bolla
31-year-old tourist Justin Bolla faces a Class C felony vandalism charge after police say he was walking in downtown Nashville when he suddenly punched a hole through the front storefront window of Betty’s Boots on Broadway. Police reviewed security footage and charged the Massachusetts tourist with felony vandalism after the custom window was estimated at $12,000 to repair. His friend with him, Kevin Gately, was additionally charged with public intoxication.
Bond set at $10,500 for woman cashing two forged checks worth $650 — Samantha Brady arrested
25-year-old Samantha Brady is charged with two felony counts of forgery and attempted theft after attempting to cash two checks, one for $250, and another for $400, at Tennessee Quick Cash on Nolensville Pike Tuesday. Employees discovered both checks were stolen and forged and contacted police while she was still in the lobby. Police arrived and she confessed to attempting to cash the forged checks. Bond was set at $10,500.
Man charged after throwing brick at boyfriend, hitting car instead — Khiry Crowder
32-year-old Khiry Crowder was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Wednesday on two outstanding warrants stemming from an October incident in which police say he threw a brick at his boyfriend, Haikim Shruggs, but missed, and it struck the boyfriend’s work vehicle instead. Crowder is charged with felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and vandalism.
Local man argues over signing bar tab at Rippy’s downtown — Jeffrey Fiorillo arrested
45-year-old Jeffrey Fiorillo was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Friday night after he became “irate” at Rippy’s bar in downtown Nashville and refused to sign his bar tab, according to police, who arrived to find him still arguing with venue security.
He was determined to be extremely intoxicated and unsafe to be left on his own.
Woman pulls out tampon, uses it to assault paramedic in ambulance — Seairra Reiter
24-year-old Seairra Reiter was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Sunday on multiple outstanding warrants charging from a prior incident during which she was transported via ambulance. Police say she became aggressive with EMS personnel and was kicking and spitting on them.
Once in the back of the ambulance she removed her tampon and used it to assault one of the paramedics.
