DUI: Cristhian Barahona-Salinas crashes into woman’s home covered in rice & red sauce

20-year-old Cristhian Josue Barahona-Salinas crashed into the side of Daphne Hope Brant’s Cloverwood Drive residence and Kristopher Jerome Gauthier’s parked vehicle late September 8th. When officers arrived, they observed Barahona-Salinas’ car and the damage it had done. Officers noted that he was not on the scene. Then, officers spoke with multiple witnesses, who stated that Barahona-Salinas walked away from the crash and provided them with a description of his clothing.

After this, the police located Barahona-Salinas on the nearby cross-street with rice and red sauce on his pants, matching the mess inside his vehicle. Barahona-Salinas told officers that he had three beers earlier as he reeked of alcohol and showed signs of impairment. After taking sobriety tests, he was detained for the occurrence. Barahona-Salinas was informed of implied consent and agreed to provide a breath sample, resulting in 0.089% BAC. Barahona-Salinas was taken into custody for driving under the influence, two counts of vandalism, and leaving the scene of an accident on September 9th.
