Public Intoxication: Christopher Ross jailed after walking in the middle of traffic

26-year-old Christopher Ross was seen visibly intoxicated outside Tin Roof Demonbreun on June 23rd. While patrolling, officers observed Ross arguing with security personnel because they would not allow him inside the bar. Officers approached to assist security, but Ross could not form coherent sentences. Ross eventually told officers that he needed to call his mother. Officers waited for Ross, but he was unable to unlock his phone, so the officers allowed him to use their phone. Ross continued to struggle to enter the correct number, so officers offered to give him a ride to get him a ride home or to medical attention. Ross refused, but he was observed walking into traffic; he was deemed unable to care for his safety and was taken into custody for public intoxication.

Jeremy Bauer punches boyfriend in face at Tribe

41-year-old Jeremy Bauer was involved in a domestic altercation with his boyfriend, Brett Finch, at Tribe on Church Street on August 9th, 2023. Officers spoke with Finch, who stated that he and Bauer were both drinking at a bar when Bauer walked up to him and punched him in the face. Finch claims this attack was unprovoked. Nicole McDonald, a witness to the crime, told officers that she saw Bauer walk up to Finch, punch him in the face, then leave the bar. A warrant was issued for Bauer that day. Bauer was later taken into custody for domestic assault on May 26th, 2024.

Herbert Sievers spits on Shell gas station employee during argument over drink prices

63-year-old Herbert Sievers had an altercation with an employee, Jonathan Booker, at the West End Avenue Shell gas station on April 20th. Upon arrival, officers spoke with Booker, who stated that he and Sievers argued over the price of a drink. Booker stated that the argument escalated when Sievers started insulting and spitting on him. Sievers was cited for the occurrence that day. Sievers was later booked on the citation of assault on May 13th.

Indiana tourist William Lirette bites security guard during drunken fight at wrong hotel

29-year-old William Lirette was jailed in the early hours of Saturday morning after he made his way into the wrong hotel and bit a security guard’s arm. Just before 3 a.m. Lirette entered the Conrad Hotel on West End Ave. and went to the third floor, where he insisted he had a room. Security informed him that he was not a guest at the location, and the two began to fight in the hallway. Metro PD was alerted and arrived to find him and security on the ground, where they had been grappling, and Lirette bit the guard on the arm. Officers discovered a hotel keycard for the Aloft Hotel in Lirette’s pocket. He was transported to booking and charged with criminal trespassing and public intoxication.

Mykayla Clemons threatens girlfriend with gun over $15, tells her “I’ll Kill You!”

34-year-old Mykayla Clemons had a domestic dispute with her girlfriend, Yarlonda Williams, at Gale Lane on December 16th. Williams advised officers that Clemons was demanding $15 and became aggressive, shoving her. The argument escalated in the apartment complex parking lot when Clemons pulled out a black handgun and waved it around, telling Williams, “I’ll kill you.” Clemons left before the officers arrived. However, Clemons drove back to the apartment complex when they were speaking with Williams. Clemons told officers that she did not have a gun on her or in her car but had a pistol magazine protruding from her right pocket. She insisted that they search her vehicle. So they did, and an all-black handgun was found. Then, Clemons stated that when Williams refused to give her the $15 she owed, Williams and her brother began to beat her up, so she came outside and broke Williams’ windows with the pistol magazine because she was making her feel small. Clemons was taken into custody for vandalism and aggravated assault.

Glenn Beauchamp drunk and disorderly in emergency room

61-year-old Glenn Beauchamp was drunk and disorderly at Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital Midtown in the early hours of October 25th when he was told numerous times to leave the property. Beauchamp was visibly intoxicated as he admitted to having five beers earlier to officers. Security at St. Thomas advised officers that Beauchamp was not being seen for anything but was visiting a friend. He began to be vulgar towards the nursing staff as he started filming inside the emergency room and became aggressive when security asked him to stop filming and cursing. Beauchamp was forced out of the hospital by security as he told officers that he was okay to remain on hospital property because he called the police and that he was upset because he did not think that his friend needed the treatment that the staff administered. Beauchamp was taken into custody for criminal trespassing and public intoxication.

Sydney Kendall jailed after tossing bottles at Play Dance Bar, kicking officer in groin at booking

27-year-old Sydney Kendall was at Play Dance Bar on Church Street in the early hours of Saturday morning when she left the club, got into her vehicle, and began to throw liquor bottles from her car toward other vehicles in the parking lot. Security altered MNPD, who approached Kendall, causing her to put the car in reverse in an attempt to flee. She eventually stopped the vehicle, exited, and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. Though initially agreeing to take a breathalyzer, once she was at booking she refused to comply with any testing. As she returned from the breathalyzer room, Kendall became irate and shoved officers. She dropped to the floor, kicked one officer in the groin, and pulled on their gear as she was being held against the wall.

Jennifer Powell purged from Play Dance Bar after drunken wallet theft

38-year-old Jennifer Powell had a dispute at Play Dance Bar on Church Street about a wallet, which caused security to get involved early Friday morning. Security staff stated that after a wallet went missing, Jennifer was confronted and gave the wallet back to the unknown individual, who then left. When they told Jennifer and her party to leave the venue, Jennifer began fighting security. They stated they did not wish to prosecute but wanted Jennifer off the property. Police gave her the opportunity to leave with her friends, but she refused to take it. Also, she had no phone or wallet to get a hotel or a ride. Due to her signs of visible intoxication, police placed her in custody for public intoxication and transported her to booking.

Robert Palumbo kicked out of The Electric Jane bar, breaks into tour bus to sleep

30-year-old Robert Palumbo continuously attempted to enter Electric Jane Bar after being barred for being too intoxicated, then sat in the driver’s seat of a tour bus, refusing to leave. Close to 11:30 pm on July 27th, police found Robert unsteady on his feet outside Electric Jane Bar on Division St. Reportedly, Robert was denied access several times to Electric Jane Bar due to his level of intoxication. After several attempts to force his way in, he climbed into the driver seat of a nearby tour bus with the owner asleep in the bus. He refused to get off the bus when the owner told him to. Eventually, he made his way back out in front of Electric Jane Bar, where police found him.

DUI: Robert Kilbane drives into tree at White Castle on Broadway

28-year-old Robert Kilbane fell asleep and drove his white Chevy Silverado onto a curb at the White Castle on Broadway in downtown Nashville and into a tree just after 5 a.m. Thursday. It took multiple attempts for first responders to awaken Kilbane, but he eventually exited the vehicle while unsteady on his feet and reeking of alcohol. Kilbane told officers he had “a couple of beers” with friends earlier in the night. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was taken into custody, charged with DUI.
