Jamonqueia Rucker was heard crying on the phone when she called 911 to report that her 25-year-old boyfriend, William Alexander, was outside the residence with a gun. Officers arrived and spoke with both parties. Jamonqueia says William refused to watch their two children while she went to work, but he refused and wanted their grandmother to have the responsibility. He then reportedly pushed her down onto the floor multiple times during an assault. Officers documented multiple bruises and injuries on the victim, some of them bleeding. William denied that he hurt the victim., and stated it was only an argument.

Police say 31-year-old Angelina Federle and her boyfriend, Eric Doyle, were leaving a restaurant on December 31st when the couple got into a verbal argument. Once they were in the car and on the way home, she reportedly began to strike and punch him in the face multiple times, leaving him with injuries that were later documented by police, who were called once they arrived home.

29-year-old Iveth Reyes dislocated her own shoulder during an assault on her boyfriend, Oscar Ortega Mercado. She says she became upset that he was cheating on her, and she shoved him multiple times with her arms extended. She reportedly struck him multiple times, causing him to grab her arm to defend himself and prevent further strikes.
Troy Garrett pushes girlfriend to ground after each searches the other’s phone
19-year-old Troy Cole (Garrett) is charged with the domestic assault of his girl, Zatiyah Dixon, after admitting to pushing her to the ground as each scrolled through the other person’s phone. The incident occurred on January 2nd, and he says Zatiyah accused him of cheating while searching his phone. The victim says Troy became upset as he was scrolling through her phone, too, and pushed her to the ground.
Garrett Nash charged in assault of girlfriend after night of drinking on New Year’s Eve
26-year-old Garrett Nash and his girlfriend, Savannah Gulley Decker, were drinking with friends in downtown Nashville on New Year’s Eve when they got into a verbal argument. They shared an Uber back to Lichey Ave, where each had parked their own car at a friend’s home for the evening. As they waited there in their separate vehicles for the homeowner to also return, Garrett reportedly became impatient and wanted to return home to Clarksville. He reportedly demanded his girlfriend get into his car so they could leave, and she refused. She says he then pulled on both of her arms, leaving red marks on them. The homeowner arrived and asked Garrett to leave, but he refused. Officers then responded to the scene and determined him to be the primary aggressor in a domestic assault, and he was transported to jail.
Ruterera Budamu charged with assaulting wife with shoe on Christmas Eve
50-year-old Ruterera Budamu was charged with domestic assault for an incident on Christmas Eve, after he threw a shoe and struck his wife, Nyinawumwami Nyatuza, in the face and hand while arguing with her daughter, Nadine Utumanseka, about parking outside the house. Nyinawumwami says the shoe caused pain in her face.
Kevin Morris charged in assault of boyfriend, Joel Baker, after a house party
40-year-old Kevin Morris was charged with domestic assault on December 27th after he reportedly assaulted his ex-boyfriend, Joel Baker. Morris showed up at Baker’s apartment and grabbed him by the shirt, pulled him upward, and assaulted him. Officers say documented fresh scratches on the victim’s face, chest, and arms, along with a torn shirt. Kevin was intercepted by police as he was leaving the scene and taken into custody without incident.
Wendy Williams given a $50 bond after assaulting her wife with small pumpkins
59-year-old Wendy Williams was charged with domestic assault of her wife, Maureen Williams, just two days before Christmas. Police say the two were in a verbal argument that escalated when she initially slapped her wife on the shoulder, causing slight pain. Wendy then reportedly began throwing several “small pumpkins” at her wife, striking her in the leg. Wendy Williams admitted to the assault and was taken into custody.

19-year-old Brianna Barron is charged with the domestic assault of her roommate, Keijuana Bonds, who is also her roommate. Video shows Barron pushing and punching Bonds and was determined to be the primary aggressor. Prior to the assault, a two two were in a verbal argument after Barron placed Bonds things outside the home so she could retrieve them.
Charles Trimm charged in assault of Dorrie Phillips in downtown Nashville
42-year-old Charles Trimm was charged with domestic assault this month after police say he grabbed Dorrie Phillips by the back of the neck and the top of her chest in downtown Nashville. Responding officers were able to view video of the assault from the J.W. Marriott security cameras. The victim was transported to the hospital after she had a panic attack after the assault, and Trimm was taken into custody.
