37-year-old Hoan Bui told police he had 2-3 beers and a shot of liquor in downtown Nashville before crashing his vehicle early Saturday morning. A witness observed him driving the wrong way on Bell Road just before the crash. Bui blew a 0.115 BAC on a breathalyzer and was charged with DUI, and was additionally booked on an outstanding citation from 2018, charging him with driving on a suspended license. Bui is free on pre-trial release.

Live Nation executive over Ascend Amphitheater charged with DUI — Brian Traeger arrested
41-year-old Brian Traeger, who is president of Live Nation’s Tennessee Bureau, told police he was completely at fault for hitting a parked car while driving his blue Audi A4 Saturday evening in Nashville, claiming he was texting and driving when the accident occurred. Officer say they smelled alcohol coming from Traeger’s breath, and that he was swaying and slurring his words during the interaction. When asked to perform field sobriety tests, Traeger reportedly agreed initially, then retracted his compliance and stated “just take a blood draw because it’s the most accurate”. Traeger was transported to Metro General Hospital for a blood draw and then to the Metro Nashville Jail, where he was charged with driving under the influence. He is free on pre-trial release.
DUI: Man charged with DUI-2nd Offense after crash on Broadway in downtown Nashville — Blake Aaron
27-year-old Blake Aaron is free on pre-trial release after being charged with DUI – 2nd Offense after crashing his Nissan Sentra into another vehicle at 612 Broadway in downtown Nashville. He admitted drinking prior to the crash, and to a prior DUI in the state of Kentucky. He was unable to complete standard field sobriety tests, however, a blood draw was completed at General Hospital before he was transported to booking.
Woman charged with downtown DUI says she had a “single drink at work before leaving — Catherine Friend
25-year-old Catherine Friend is charged with DUI after driving on KVB at 1st Ave. South in downtown Nashville with a damaged front tire. Police made contact with her and noticed immediate signs of intoxication. She admitted to having ‘a single drink’ before leaving her job, and was transported to booking after a stop at Metro General for a blood draw, to which she consented. She is free on pre-trial release.
DUI: Man drinks “a few shots” on drive from Broadway to downtown neighborhood — David Hogan
32-year-old David Hogan admits to driving from “somewhere on Broadway” to near Lipscomb University, and taking “a few shots” along the way. When police responded to the area, they located him leaning against a fence in the backyard of a residence, with his arm through the neck hole of his shirt, and profusely sweating. Neighbors say he left his car parked with its hazards on while he was drunkenly roaming through the neighborhood. He blew a 0.139 BAC.
Teacher blows .220 BAC & crashes car after “4-5 drinks” at Tin Roof Bar: Samira Hardcastle
26-year-old Samira Hardcastle, a 6th-grade math & science teacher, was charged with DUI early Saturday after admitting to police she had 4-5 drinks at Tin Roof Bar before crashing her car on her way home. She blew a .220 BAC on a breathalyzer.
DUI Ridin’ Dirty: Man tosses beer bottle out window, lies about it, admits it; asks for lawyer, talks anyway — Jamie Levitt
Metro Police say 33-year-old Jamie Levitt was driving 83 in a 55 mph zone at 6:52 p.m. on Friday when he suddenly crossed four lanes of traffic while merging from I-440E onto I-40. As an officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop, Levitt reportedly tossed a beer bottle out the window, then denied it, then eventually admitted it. He asked for a lawyer but then continued telling the officer about how his intoxication. He blew a 0.103 BAC.
Manager from Jason Aldean’s Bar, Clinton Waschow, charged with DUI in Nashville after drinking at bar
28-year-old Clinton Waschow, Operations Manager for Jason Aldean’s Bar in downtown Nashville, told police he had “two drinks” at Aldean’s before they found him drunkenly driving past officers who were blocking a bridge for roadwork. Officers noted: “his pants were unzipped at the time of this arrest”.
