Dymond Howard tries to save boyfriend from being arrested during traffic stop

25-year-old Dymond Howard and her boyfriend were caught with marijuana at a traffic stop at the intersection of Clarksville Pike and Kings Lane on August 25th. When officers came into contact with them, they detected the odor of marijuana coming from their car. Officers ordered the couple to exit their vehicle and conducted a probable cause search. Before the search, Howard’s boyfriend admitted that there was a blunt in the passenger side cubby and that he had two bags of marijuana in his pants. At this time, officers attempted to place Howard’s boyfriend under arrest. However, he started resisting by pulling away from the officers. While he was resisting, Howard began trying to pull him away from officers. Officers were eventually able to get both of them to the ground and place both of them into custody. Howard attempted to resist officers while being detained, so it was deemed necessary to take her to the ground again. Howard was later transported to booking and charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
