Cameron Howland attempts to run over Express Towing Employees during altercation

30-year-old Cameron Howland had an altercation with two Express Towing employees, Azad Salih and Hajar Hussein, at Express Towing on Spence Lane late August 18th. When officers arrived, they spoke with Hussein, who stated that he had released Howland’s car to him when he had gotten upset over the price. Hussein went into detail, noting that while Howland was leaving, he rolled down the window and said, “Watch out because I am going to come to your house, and I am going to rape your family in front of you!” Then, Hussein said he told Howland to leave and followed his vehicle on foot, waiting for him to go. After this, Hussein added that Howland threw something at Salih and hit him in the left shoulder, causing visible injury. Then, Hussein said he retaliated and threw a bottle back at Howland’s vehicle. Howland responded by circling back with his car attempting to run Hussein and Salih over. Two witnesses told the police they saw Howland trying to drive into the men, one of whom was in a tow truck and had tried blocking Howland from hitting them. When officers spoke with Howland, he told them that Salih punched him in the face, which Salih said did not happen. Then, Howland admitted to talking trash to them and looping around the business but denied their allegations. Hussein and Salih informed officers that they wanted to press charges, and Howland was detained for the incident. Howland was taken into custody for two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Jordan Pankey drives car off tow truck after refusing to pay drop fee

33-year-old Jordan Pankey had a dispute with Hajar Hussein, an employee at Express Towing near Lakeside Lounge on Woodland Street, late February 23rd. Hussein alerted the authorities, advising that he was called to tow Pankey’s vehicle for blocking a dumpster. When Hussein arrived and hooked up the car, Pankey approached and refused to pay the drop fee. Pankey then entered the car and drove it off the tow truck. Only after doing this did he offer to pay, but Hussein refused because he had already driven his vehicle off. Pankey was cited for the incident. Pankey was later booked on the citation of theft on March 20th.
