Fresh outta jail, Erica Alcorn threatens to kill two small children and their mother

36-year-old Erica Leigh Alcorn was jailed for the past two years, and when she was recently released, she picked up exactly where she left off. Alcorn says a woman Krist Pegg, owed her $800 when she was incarcerated. While she was in jail, Pegg passed away, and now Alcorn wants Pegg’s daughter, Hailey Stevenson, to pay up. Haily says she was always shielded from her mother’s activities, which sometimes included the selling of drugs, and knew nothing of Alcorn’s claim. Despite multiple requests to stop, Alcorn had continued to make threats to Hailey, such as commenting on her social media, “Girl, just pay me your momma’s debt, or your kids will pay for it, okay?” Another message said, “bullets don’t have eyes, so let’s just hope you nor the boys are near windows,” and finally, on her own page, she posted, “Y’all can laugh now, but when y’all are crying because you have to bury two little boys who’s laughing then?”

Irate passenger Brian Johnson charged with public intoxication at Nashville Airport

37-year-old Brian Wayne Johnson became upset at the Nashville International Airport on January 2 after he was denied boarding due to his level of intoxication. Airport police responded to the gate and attempted to assist him in getting rebooked at a later time. Johnson continued to be irate and was upsetting other passengers in the area. He then threw his backpack down an escalator in a fit of rage. He was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

Omarion Pickett charged after making threats to shoot teachers and students at Nashville School

18-year-old Omarion Pickett was sent home from High Roads Academy in October after staff say he was threating to shoot teachers and students at the school. Later that morning he made threats over the phone to bring his cousin to the school to shoot teachers and students. A warrant was issued for his arrest, charging him with felony false report of an emergency. He was booked this week on the outstanding warrant. He is free on a $2,500 bond.

Victoria Anderson tosses drink in woman’s face, sends her to surgery after attack at Sonny’s Bar

Abigail Wate Ayala says she was at Sonny’s Bar on December 12th with her ex-boyfriend when 27-year-old Victoria ‘Toria’ Marie Anderson suddenly appeared at the bar and tossed a drink onto her before exiting the building. As Abigail and her ex were leaving the bar an hour later, Toria Anderson was still outside waiting for them. Toria shoved Abigail from behind, causing her to sustain serious injuries, including a torn UCL and fractures to her elbow, requiring surgery. Toria also took Abigail’s cell phone from her and deleted the video that she had recorded of the altercation, then smashed the phone onto the ground. Officers obtained security footage of the attacks and took out warrants for Anderson, including one for felony aggravated assault, and she was taken into custody this week.

‘The Nashville Cowboy’ Colby Barrett booked on yet another assault charge

The “The Nashville Cowboy,” AKA 47-year-old Benjamin ‘Colby’ Barrett, with who tourists had a longstanding #FindTheCowboy game when he was the doorman at Layla’s in downtown Nashville, has been charged with the assault of Dallas Webb. Barrett was booked on the state citation this week for the incident that occurred in mid-October on Demonbreun Street. Police say Barrett and Webb were in a verbal altercation that turned physical when Barrett assaulted Webb. Webb then punched Barrett back in self-defense. Previously, Webb was charged with the felony aggravated assault of a woman. Since leaving Layla’s, Colby has attempted to start a tour company where he will escort tourists around town to various bars, called ‘The Cowboy Cruze’

DUI: Gregory Stamps found drinking a Natty Daddy while driving in East Nashville

Police were on the lookout for 55-year-old Gregory Stamps, who was reported to be intoxicated and driving a black Toyota RAV4 on January 5. He was eventually located on Woodland Street, where they conducted a traffic stop to check on his welfare. Officers say he had constricted pupils and the smell of alcohol coming from his breath. Stamps stated he consumed a 25oz beer prior to driving, and officers observed a 25oz Natty Daddy in the console beside him. He was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

Aaron McCray — drunk at the Tennessee State Museum

Police say 32-year-old Aaron J. McCray was drunk at the Tennessee State Museum on January 3. He told responding officers he had ” a lot” to drink and was falling asleep while talking, unable to provide his address, how he arrived at the museum, or even where he was at. He was unable to contact anyone to retrieve him and was charged with public intoxication. Officers destroyed the two cans of beer and three vodka mini-bottles in his backpack before transporting him to booking.

Ivy Song charged with assaulting her father during dispute

Police found 20-year-old Ivy Song crying outside as they responded to an assault call. She told officers that her father, Dwayne Hall, attacked her while she was speaking to her mother about a leasing agreement she and her father had arranged. As the story unfolded and each person was interviewed, it was realized her father had indeed pinned her to the floor, but only after she began to assault him. It was determined he was acting in self-defense. Ivy was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault.

DUI: Caleb Smith says he crashed after drinking at company party before driving

Metro Nashville Police say 34-year-old Caleb A. Shrum was the at-fault driver in a crash at Southlake Drive & Southlake Court late Thursday night after he crossed the center line and drove head-on into another vehicle. He reportedly reeked of alcohol and had obvious signs of intoxication. He admitted to drinking at a company party a few hours prior to driving. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and later blew a 0.172% BAC on a breathalyzer.
