Police responded to a single-car crash just before 3 a.m. and found 21-year-old Dre’Daya Holloway sitting inside her vehicle which she had crashed into a utility pole. Police say she was extremely intoxicated, hysterical, and rambling incoherently. She was belligerent with first responders, accusing police of being racist, and questioned if they could properly spell her name. She repeatedly asked why they had not found the vehicle that hit her, despite there being no other vehicle. She frequently responded to radio traffic on the police radio as if it were meant for her. She eventually admitted to believing she was on the TSU Campus and had just come from a party where she had been drinking Hennessy.

Teen charged with robbing his neighbors, using his own ID to pawn electronics — T’Shawn Palton

19-year-old T’Shawn Palton faces felony aggravated burglary and felony theft charges after his neighbors at the apartment directly above him reported their 65″ television, Macbook, and white Xbox One were missing when they came home. After detectives ran one of the serial numbers it came back as being pawned by Palton, and when detectives notices his address was directly below the victim’s, they knew they had their man. teenager. child. dumb criminal. Woman charged in seemingly random brutal assault of boyfriend — Breanna Durrenberg

Braden Clark says he had just turned on the shower and was about to get in when his girlfriend, 20-year-old Breanna ‘Bree’ Durrenberg, began pounding on the bathroom door, pushed her way inside, and began screaming and assaulting him. When police located him at the Century Farms Emergency Department next door to the apartment complex, he was beaten and bruised, including a black eye from being punched and a bleeding cut to the back of his head where he was attacked with a glass cologne bottle. It was unclear what prompted the attack.

Man charged after his ex says he calls her repeatedly, demanding sex & making threats — Timothy Strickland

Tiana Jade Spence says her ex-boyfriend, 24-year-old Timothy Strickland continues to call her from a blocked number, demanding sex. When she refuses, he becomes upset and makes threats to assault and kill her when he gets off work. He was jailed at 10 p.m. on Valentine’s day, charged with harassment, and released on bond before daylight the next morning.

DUI: The man passed out behind the wheel of his Tesla would like his lawyer — Jeff Halm

Metro Nashville Police say they found 34-year-old Jeffrey Halm passed out behind the wheel of his Tesla at the corner of Gallatin Ave. & Eastland Ave. in the early hours of Monday morning. It took multiple attempts to get Halm alert and awake, at which time he became hesitant to exit the vehicle. He reportedly swayed back and forth and answered every question with “I want my lawyer”, over and over again. Police located an unopened bottle of beer in the cupholder.

A Nashville first date goes horribly wrong, and it’s not the first time — Daniel Sassano arrested

A woman says she went on a first date with 29-year-old Danny Sassano this weekend, and they were at her house in the bed when Sassano began making sexual advances on her, touching her all over. She told him she did not want to have sex that night and asked him to leave, at which time he reportedly became very irate and shoved her in the chest, leaving visible abrasions. Police placed Sassano into custody, but only charged him with domestic assault, as Sex Crimes Detectives stated there was not enough probable cause for sexual assault warrants. Officers also discovered he had an outstanding warrant from another incident in which a woman told him to leave her residence and he grabbed her phone from the bedside table and ran water of it so she could not call 911, then tossed her to the ground. Bullied man rescued from Broadway, jailed for public intoxication — Jarred Bredesen

Metro Nashville Police responded to a fight on Broadway late Saturday night, but the victim could not be located. As they were in the area, they came into contact with 23-year-old Jarred Bredesen who they say was highly intoxicated and could barely stand without assistance. He was yelling at citizens who were walking by, stating that he was mad he had been bullied all of his life. Officers offered him a ride home, noting that Broadway probably wasn’t a safe place for him in his current state, however, he refused to get in the cruiser to be taken home. Due to the annoyance he was causing and his extreme level of intoxication, he still ended up in the back of the car anyway, but now he was handcuffed and charged with public intoxication and transported to booking.
