Ivy Song charged with assaulting her father during dispute

Police found 20-year-old Ivy Song crying outside as they responded to an assault call. She told officers that her father, Dwayne Hall, attacked her while she was speaking to her mother about a leasing agreement she and her father had arranged. As the story unfolded and each person was interviewed, it was realized her father had indeed pinned her to the floor, but only after she began to assault him. It was determined he was acting in self-defense. Ivy was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault.

DUI: Caleb Smith says he crashed after drinking at company party before driving

Metro Nashville Police say 34-year-old Caleb A. Shrum was the at-fault driver in a crash at Southlake Drive & Southlake Court late Thursday night after he crossed the center line and drove head-on into another vehicle. He reportedly reeked of alcohol and had obvious signs of intoxication. He admitted to drinking at a company party a few hours prior to driving. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and later blew a 0.172% BAC on a breathalyzer.

Harold Spicer charged with DUI on NYE after drinking shots of Fireball Whisky

52-year-old Harold Spicer put his car in reverse on I-65N on New Year’s Eve and backed into a concrete barrier. An off-duty detective happened to also be on the interstate and witnessed the unusual behavior. First responders say Spicer was found asleep behind the wheel of his vehicle and was visibly intoxicated. Spicer, who had urinated on himself, admitted to drinking three shots of Fireball whisky prior to driving.

Jeremy McGaughey charged with punching girlfriend as she evicted his belongings

Dorian Laird says she was arguing with her 43-year-old boyfriend, Jeremy McGaughey, in January of 2022 about his “lack of productiveness.” During the dispute, she says Jeremy punched her in the face as she was placing his belongings outside of the home for him to leave. He fled the scene before the police arrived. They documented injuries to the victim’s face and hand, including swelling and abrasions. A warrant was issued for his arrest, and he was booked on that warrant this week.

Mya Delgado calls 911 on her girlfriend, but she goes to jail for assault

23-year-old Mya Delgado called 911 to report her girlfriend, Chelsea Channel Bryanton (AKA Cinko), wouldn’t allow her to retrieve her belongings from their shared apartment. The couple returned home after being out at a nightclub and got into an argument as Mya had a flat tire on the way home with no way to call for help due to Chelsea taking her phone. Mya says Chelsea came at her, so she threw her keys at her in “self-defense” from approximately 8-10 feet away. Chelsea told police that Mya came home and began destroying the bedroom looking for her phone, and then pushed Chelsea down in anger. Once she found them, Mya reportedly hit her girlfriend in the head while holding the keys. Due to the victim’s documented injuries and the damage around the home, Mya was determined to be the primary aggressor and taken into custody.

Fashion Blogger Krysta Powell charged in $26K heist of Birkin bag, Hublot watch, Versace silk shirt

35-year-old Krysta Powell is free on a $25,000 bond after police say she and a man entered the Luxury Label store on Crestmoor Road and walked out with a Hermes Birkin bag, a Hublot watch, and a Versace silk shirt, valued at $26,900 in total. Video footage shows them asking to see items up closed and leaving an area with the items concealed on them. Krysta is a fashion blogger and micro-influencer who recommends products on her social media accounts and earns referrals from the sales she generates.

Jacob Terry kicks in neighbor’s door & assaults him over trash can dispute

22-year-old Jacob Terry was at his mother’s home in Nashville, where he has been in a drawn-out battle with her neighbor over the placement of trash cans. The neighbor, Qiang Liu, moved the trashcans over a bit as they were directly in front of one of his windows. Late that night, Jacob kicked in the victim’s door and placed both of his fists under the victim’s chin, and threatened to beat him while yelling never to touch their trash cans again. The neighbor stated he wanted to handle this peacefully when Jacob knocked his glasses off his face. As Jacob was fleeing the home, he pushed the door into the victim, leaving him with an injury. A warrant was issued for Jacob’s arrest, and he was booked on that outstanding warrant for assault this week.

Anthony Barrie — screaming, crying, and drunkenly playing in traffic in downtown Nashville

24-year-old Anthony Austin Barrie told police he had been drinking at a downtown Nashville bar and had a “few drinks” before employees of Bar Louie in the Gulch noticed him drunkenly running through traffic and screaming and crying before arriving at their bar, where he cursed at employees. Metro Nashville Police arrived and attempted to facilitate a ride, but he refused and attempted to walk away. Barrie was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

Lashawn Howard blocks in ex-boyfriend: “I didn’t forget the bullets at home this time”

Police 19-year-old Lashawn Howard located her ex-boyfriend, Thomas Smith, on New Year’s Eve in the parking lot of his apartment complex and used her vehicle to block him in to prevent him from driving away. She then approached his vehicle and told him she “wasn’t playing around,” threatened to slash his tires, and waved a knife toward him. She then opened her other hand to display several rounds of ammunition and told him she didn’t forget the bullets at home this time. He then backed into her car in an effort to escape the situation

William Vossburgh — drunk and disorderly at Nashville Airport

44-year-old William Vossburgh accompanied his son to the Nashville International Airport to see him off on a Southwest flight on January 1st. After his son’s plane departed, he was confronted by Airport Police, who told him to leave the airport, stating he did not have a valid boarding pass and appeared to be intoxicated. He was reportedly using improper language around families at the gate and annoying the general public in the area. While Vossburgh initially agreed to leave Airport property, minutes later he became verbally aggressive with Airport Police. Officers then decided to place him into custody for public intoxication and transported him downtown to booking.
