Etrec Logan charged with domestic assault of his daughter; DCS opens investigation

A Department of Children’s Services investigation has been opened and 41-year-old Etrec Logan has additionally been charged with domestic assault after a female child reported to police that her father picked her up off the ground and forcefully threw her down onto the floor during an argument. Two siblings witnessed the assault and one intervened. During the investigation, Logan admitted to grabbing his daughter and “shaking her” but did not make any further statements regarding the incident.

Asyia Lewis & Kameisha Patterson both charged in lover’s brawl

18-year-old Asyia Lewis & 21-year-old Kameisha Patterson were jailed this week after Goodlettsville Police responded to a ‘disorderly subject’ call on Green Circle on July 7th to find a large group of people inside a home yelling at Kameisha Patterson to leave the property. While officers were at the home, they observed Patterson’s girlfriend, Asyia Lewis, slap her in the face — she says she just found out that Patterson had cheated on her. They also observed Patterson slamming an iPhone onto the ground and throwing a trophy across the room. Patterson was restrained and taken out of the apartment, but pulled away and attempted to flee as she was being cuffed. Patterson is also accused of striking Asyia’s mother, Lumeka, in the face. During the investigation, Patterson claimed she needed to use the restroom and when a female officer was escorting her to the restroom she sprinted away from custody for a short period of time before being captured again.

Brandon Glass jailed on $50K bond after girlfriend wakes up naked, bruised, strangled & with no memory

Kirsten Carter says her boyfriend, 33-year-old Brandon Glass, began to bite her after they went to bed on July 3rd, in an attempt to initiate sex after the couple had been drinking all evening. She told him to stop biting her, and hit him. She says he then pulled her hair, and everything went black. Carter says the next thing she remembers is waking up naked on July 4th with bite marks all over her body, bruises on her legs, back, and torso, two black eyes, and a busted lip. Additionally, she had red marks on both sides of her neck/throat and it appears as if her air and blood flow had been restricted for a period of time. When first responders arrived, she was still seeing spots and flashes of light, and had a raspy voice and a hard time swallowing. She was transported to a local hospital for treatment and Brandon Glass was charged with felony aggravated assault/strangulation.

Police jail father of a one-year-old when they realize he’s six years older than the child’s 16-year-old mother

22-year-old Henry Juarez-Perez is now jailed on a $10,000 bond, charged with statutory rape after Metro Nashville Police discovered his prior relationship with a 16-year-old girl and sex that occurred over a year ago. Officers initially responded to a domestic disturbance call on July 3rd, when his ex-girlfriend and mother of this child called 911 to report that he was drunk and came to her apartment accusing her of “finding someone new” and hitting her multiple times. She locked herself in the bathroom, along with their one-year-old son, until officers arrived. While they did not find any marks or injuries from an assault, some quick math with everyone’s age and dates of birth resulted in a felony statutory rape charge for Perez, who is six years older than Maria, the mother of his child.

Dakota Hobbs charged with punching Gabriel Manning in the face when confronted about alcoholism

23-year-old Dakota Hobbs is charged with the domestic assault of Gabriel Manning. Manning states he and Hobbs got into an argument about Hobbs drinking too much. Manning reportedly grabbed a bottle of alcohol from Hobbs and poured it out, causing Hobbs to square up to Manning and challenging him to fight. Hobbs punched Manning in the face multiple times before fleeing the scene. Officers documented multiple injuries and bruising on Manning’s face.

Zakoy Bell jailed on $10K bond after strangling sister in argument over rent money

Zakyia Bell had to be transported to Southern Hills Medical center on June 23rd, after her brother, 21-year-old Zakoy Bell reportedly strangled her with both of his hands until she could no longer breathe, as he shook her back and forth causing her to hit her head, according to a statement to police. The two were in an argument about rent money for their shared apartment. Officers documented visible injuries to her neck and issued a felony warrant for his arrest. He was booked on the outstanding warrant overnight.

Jessica Roman charged with slapping ex-lover & father of her children in face at Sonic; fleeing scene

Martin Manjarrez says he was dropping off his girlfriend at the Sonic on Dickerson Pike on June 8th when he was approached by his ex-girlfriend, 23-year-old Jessica Roman, in the parking lot. While the two were discussing their children, an argument escalated until he says she slapped him in the face several times before returning to her vehicle and fleeing the location. A warrant was issued for her arrest, and she was booked on that outstanding warrant this week.

Tiffany McCalebb left three small children in downtown hotel to “meet up with a friend”

34-year-old Tiffany McCalebb faces three counts of child endangerment after Metro Nashville Police say she left her three children, all under the age of eight, in a downtown Nashville hotel room to “meet up with a friend.” Police were alerted to the situation when the front desk at the Home2 Suites by Hilton on Division Street received a call from their 7th-floor hotel room, and dispatch received a 911 call from the room, and it was just children with no adults present. When staff went to check on the room, accompanied by police, an 8-year-old girl answered the door and was in the room with two younger siblings. She told police her mother was “out with a friend” and after many attempts, the mother was eventually contacted via phone.

She initially told police her vehicle was broken down and left her children under the care of her brother, but later admitted that was a lie. She then stated she left to meet up with a friend to retrieve items from her broken-down vehicle, and officers say her story changed multiple times throughout the conversations. She eventually returned to the room and was taken into custody. Dispatch received this 911 call at 6:06 p.m. and the first responding officer was on the scene at 6:29 p.m.

Ben Bearden charged with BUI & negligent boating on 4th of July at Elm Hill Marina

TWRA Agent Joshua Landrum observed 34-year-old Benjamin Allen Bearden attempting to navigate his pontoon-style vessel to the fuel dock at the Elm Hill Marina on the 4th of July, and notes Bearden was having “extreme difficulty” maneuvering the boar and nearly hit both the dock and another boat before he was stopped. Bearden reportedly appeared extremely intoxicated and stated he drank “a couple of margaritas.” After performing poorly on field sobriety tests he was transported to booking and charged with BUI and reckless/negligent operation of a boat.
