32-year-old Julie Stack was out at multiple bars with her brother, Brian Marsden, during the evening, and later got into an argument that became physical. Brian says she punched him in the chest and face. Officers documented bruising and redness on the victim’s chest, arms, and head. Julie says she remembers the argument getting physical, but doesn’t remember exactly what happened.

Kelexis Davidson charged in assault of girlfriend, leaving her home destroyed
25-year-old Kelexis Davidson reportedly saw text messages from another man on the phone of his girlfriend, Kevionna Pope, and began accusing her of cheating. She says he locked her in the bedroom with him and pushed her onto the bed and assaulted her. Police documented scratches, marks, and blood on her. Whenever she would attempt to leave the room, he would push her away from the door, and eventually tossed her phone out the 2nd-floor bedroom window. Police documented a hole in the bedroom wall, a door off the hinges, a TV knocked off a broken TV stand, a hole in a kitchen cabinet, and another hole in a downstairs wall.
DUI: Michael Boswell rolls vehicle immediately after buying alcohol at convenience store
A convenience store employee says 52-year-old Michael Boswell was already “in an abnormal state” when he purchased alcohol Tuesday afternoon. Moments later he would roll his 2020 Ford Fusion within view of the store. As police and medics responded to the upside-down car, they documented multiple beer bottles resting on the inside roof of the car. They say Boswell’s breath reeked of alcohol, and he had slurred speech and glazy eyes. He has two prior DUIs in 2001 and 2003.
Darrin Fleming charged after pulling gun on his son, threatening to kill him
57-year-old Darrin ‘Flamingo’ Fleming is charged with pulling a gun on his son, Darrin Caruthers, and threatening to kill him. The incident occurred in the front yard, and Darrin was reportedly upset about the selling of a vehicle.
Leonard Smith charged with biting wife, threatening her with a knife
40-year-old Leonard Smith is charged with biting his wife, Angela Smith, and threatening her with a knife. She says he “woke up angry” and was yelling when he bit her in the arm. He then reportedly grabbed a large knife and stood over her, placing her in fear. She says he then went outside and used the knife to stab a hole in the tire of their vehicle.
Daylon Wall booked on warrants charging him with fleeing scene of accident
Police say 29-year-old Daylon Wall was involved in a motor vehicle crash on South 2nd Street and when an officer directed bother drivers to pull onto Crutcher Street to lessen the impact to traffic flow, Wall accelerated and fled the scene. Warrants for his arrest were issued on January 24th, and he was booked into jail on those warrants Wednesday.
DUI: Joseph Rock blows double BAC limit after blocking an interstate on-ramp
24-year-old Joseph Rock was found in his vehicle blocking a lane of traffic on an entrance ramp to I-24. He states he was driving on the interstate when a semi-truck struck his vehicle. Police say he was heavily intoxicated and reeked of alcohol. He was swaying as he attempted to stand, and declined field sobriety tests. Rock blew a 0.172% BAC on a breathalyzer.
Man charged in assault of girlfriend at their shared workplace — James Meadows
56-year-old James Meadows was booked into jail on an outstanding warrant, charging him with a domestic assault from November 30th. His lover and co-worker at Tiny Dog Pet Supply, Jamie Ellington, were arguing over cheating allegations while at the store, resulting in him Meadows shoving her. The victim says she fell and struck her head as a result of the shove, causing a laceration that required her to be transported for medical treatment. Meadows fled before officers arrived.
Curtis Washum charged in assault & strangulation of juvenile brother
25-year-old Curtis Washum just moved to live with his mother in Nashville last week. On the same day he moved in, she states he became disrespectful. Police say his juvenile brother overheard him being disrespectful and told him to not speak to their mother in such a way, and Curtis pushed him and bit him in the face, and attempted to strangle the child, also causing several scratches to the child’s body, which were documented by police.
The unwanted Christmas gift that kept on giving — Xiana Hughes
18-year-old Xania Huges was taken into custody on an assortment of felony and misdemeanor warrants stemming from a Christmas day incident. Police say her relationship with Rodney Douglas had ended in November, and on Christmas Day she wanted to retrieve her things from his home. He explained it wasn’t a good time, as he was with his current girlfriend, Jasmine Easley, for the holidays. Undeterred, Xiana showed up and became immediately irate, letting herself into the home via the back door, and walked in on the family opening gifts with children present. She destroyed the inside of the home, pulled her ex-boyfriend’s hair, punched him in his face and body, bit him on the bicep, and threatened him with a kitchen knife.
As Douglas and Easely pushed her out of the home, she began a second round of physical attacks. She then attacks them, their home, and their vehicle, with rocks and other objects. The vehicle suffered extensive damage to the windshield, mirrors, and body damage on all sides and panels. She then rips the mailbox off the base and tosses it at the home. She then got in her car to flee, but not before she attempted to drive into her ex-boyfriend using her car. Several neighbors recorded the entire incident on phones and doorbell cameras.
