“Yes that’s my pot, I’ve been smoking for 50 years” — Ricky Cook arrested in downtown Nashville

Metro Nashville Police found 61-year-old Ricky Lee Cook at the Johnny Cash Museum restaurant, where staff had asked him to leave after they deemed him to be a bother to staff and patrons, and he refused to do so. Police noticed he was heavily intoxicated, and took him into custody. During a search incidental to his arrest, officers located a leather satchel with a green Tupperware container inside, which contained his personal use marijuana. When asked, he confirmed it was marijuana, and stated: “I’ve been smoking pot for 50 years”. Police charged him with drug possession and public intoxication and transported him to jail. He is free on pre-trial release.

21-year-old Luke Dabbelt was charged with public intoxication late Friday night, after he attempted to enter the women’s restroom at Redneck Rivera on Broadway in downtown Nashville, and was got into a scuffle with security when they asked him to leave. He reportedly kicked and hit the venue’s security officer, and was cuffed when police arrived.

52-year-old Robert Lee Hurd was denied entry into Kid Rock’s Bar in downtown Nashville, so he snuck through a window and milled about inside where he pretended to be an employee of the bar. Hurd took money from patrons under the guise of getting them drinks, however, he used it to buy himself drinks… $83.84 worth, to be exact – so approximately 4 drinks. He is charged with criminal trespass and theft, and is free on a $1,000 bond.

22-year-old Isaac Jordan was deemed to be too drunk for Kid Rock’s bar Saturday night when he became disorderly and refused to leave when asked by bar staff. When police arrived he continued to yell that he “didn’t do anything wrong!” and reeked of alcohol. He was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail, charged with public intoxication.

Woman booted from Honky Tonk Central after assaulting security — Millicent ‘Millie’ Martin

36-year-old Millicent ‘Millie’ Martin was being kicked out of Honky Tonk Central early Saturday evening after she reportedly assaulted a security guard. When she refused to leave, police were called, and charged her with public intoxication, and transported her to booking, where she remained for the 8-hour sobering up period. Security staff did not press charges.

Married At First Sight star Matthew Gwynne jailed after breaking into ex-girlfriend’s Nashville home

34-year-old Matthew Gwynne, former pro basketball player and Married at First Sight star, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail as he arrived at a party at a downtown bar Sunday night, as other partygoers were aware of his outstanding warrant for an incident earlier in the weekend. Court records show he was with his “on-again/off-again” girlfriend at a party and after an argument said he was going back to her place, to which she said no. He returned to her home despite her wishes, breaking thru the door from the frame. He is charged with felony domestic vandalism and is free on a $2,500 bond.

36-year-old Philadelphia tourist James Payton was found “extremely intoxicated” and attempting to fight staff at the Moxy in downtown Nashville in the early hours of Saturday morning. He was immediately irritated with the arrival of officers and stated they should “walk away from him, right now!”. Despite attempts to get him to his room, he stated he wasn’t going anywhere. Officers understood the assignment and took Payton into custody, charging him with public intoxication and disorderly conduct. He is free on pre-trial release.
