26-year-old Zachary Queen was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after police say he was driving around erratically and suddenly jumped out of his vehicle and pointed a gun at a former co-worker, and threatened to shoot him.
The motive for the assault wasn’t clear at the time of the arrest. Queen is free on a $10,000 bond.
22-year-old Michael Diaz was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail this week after he was involved in a fight on the rooftop of Nudie’s Honky Tonk in downtown Nashville. Security attempted to break up the fight, and Dian reportedly grabbed onto the outer carry vest worn by the security guard, Charles Farris, then punched him in the face and broke his glasses.
Diaz, of Florida, is free on a $2,500 bond.
23-year-old Michael Bland (Mikey) was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Tuesday on outstanding warrants from August, charging him with felony aggravated burglary and assault. The incident occurred in East Nashville when he reportedly kicked in the read door of Brian Scott, who is described as an “acquaintance” and refused to leave, and made threats toward the victim and his family as Brain Scott physically removed him from the home.
Brian could only tell the police he knew him as “Mikey”, and police were later able to determine his identity through investigation. Mikey Bland is jailed in lieu of a $26,000 bond.
36-year-old Jaquill Fitts says she left her gun in a planter outside the gates of Nissan Stadium while she went inside to work during the Titan’s game on January 2nd. Police were alerted to the presence of the gun, and after a short investigation traced it to the employee. When questioned, Fitts explained she had taken a shuttle to work and still had the gun on her, so she had nowhere else to store it, as she could not get through security with the firearm.
A records check showed the gun as reported stolen. She was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail, charged with theft of a firearm, and being a felon in possession of a firearm. A commissioner set a $10,000 bond, however, she was free on pre-trial release.
Jessica Gonzales, a 27-year-old tourist from Houston, Texas, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail after she threw a drink on Officer Charles Wakefield when he asked her to leave the Redneck Riviera bar on Broadway in downtown Nashville.
The officer was attempting to get her off the property as management asked she be trespassed and was no longer welcome due to causing issues with other patrons. She was charged with disorderly conduct and is free on pre-trial release.
Metro Nashville Police say they were watching 22-year-old Jackson McClain stumble down Broadway in downtown Nashville when he came upon a MNPD police car and fell over onto it, nearly knocking off the side mirror. They approached him and attempted to get him a safe ride home, however, he became defiant and disorderly, aggressively refusing all assistance.
He was charged with public intoxication and transported to booking.
23-year-old Montreal Bright walked into his workplace, the Donelson Burger King, and immediately confronts another employee, Michael Crowley, screaming “Where’s my bread?” He then forces Crowley into the office and gunpoint and pistol-whips him across the back, causing severe injuries to his spinal column. Bright takes his phone and car keys before fleeing the scene.
A warrant was issued for the arrest of Montreal Bright, charging him with especially aggravated robbery & vandalism. He was taken into custody on Christmas Day, where he remains jailed in lieu of a $252,000 bond.
Metro Police say 49-year-old Kristian Dukes grabbed her sleeping husband, Brandon Burgett, under his arms and dragged him off the couch and out the door, dropping him onto the ground as she stepped over his injured body on her way back inside. Police documented multiple bruises and lacerations to the victim’s body, and blood on his left foot, which she had attempted to shut in the door. Dukes initially denied ever touching the victim, but later admitted to the struggle, adding she was intoxicated.
The victim states Dukes has been attempting to evict him from the property for a period of time.
35-year-old Krystal Wallace was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail, charged with the aggravated assault with a deadly weapon of her ex-girlfriend, Ashten Stephenson. The victim says the pair still live together and were in an argument about Krystal being extremely intoxicated and belligerent in the home. After the victim retreated to her bedroom to remove herself from the situation, she says Krystal rushed into the bedroom holding a steak knife, declaring I’m going to kill you!”.
Police located the steak knife and charged Krystal Wallace with felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. She is free on a $5,000 bond.
27-year-old Oregon Tourist Brandon Bade was fighting with security outside of Rippy’s on Broadway in downtown Nashville on Christmas Eve as an onlooker flagged down police for assistance. Police Officer Christopher Cantrell says he used joint manipulation to subdue Bade, and once he was placed into handcuffs, appeared to be unconscious. The officer states he was going to let him go without charges, and called an ambulance to transport the unconscious man to the hospital, and uncuffed him so he could be loaded into the ambulance.
Moments later, Bade became conscious again and began to fight with the medics in the back of the ambulance, and attempted to bite one of them. Bade was re-cuffed and told he was under arrest. He then fought with the officer, who was now accompanying him on the ride to Metro General Hospital, and even landed a punch to the officer’s face, despite being cuffed. Bade was charged with assault, disorderly conduct, and public intoxication. He is free on pre-trial release.
