Ronald Green beats husband in head for saying things he didn’t like during argument

44-year-old Ronald Green was involved in a domestic altercation with his husband, Martin Casanova, while at their Athens Way apartment on September 1st. When officers arrived, they spoke with Green, who claimed that an argument about finances led to an altercation inside the home. According to Green, the two of them were in the kitchen. During the argument, Casanova got in his face and began yelling and screaming. Ronald claims that this scared him, so he slapped Casanova in the face so that he would calm down. Due to this, Casanova then threw a broomstick at Green, but it did not hit him.

Officers then went inside and spoke with Casanova and noticed that he was bleeding on his hand from picking up glass. Once inside the bathroom, officers noticed two large cuts on the back of his neck that were close to each other. Casanova informed the officers that he and Green had argued in the kitchen. Casanova said some things Green did not like, so Green beat him on the side of his head. Casanova added that this caused the two cuts on his neck. Both Green and Casanova agreed that Green started the fight. Green was deemed the primary aggressor and taken into custody for domestic assault on September 2nd.
