Antioch: Komlanvi Houssounoukpe assaults wife, takes phone away when she calls 911

Metro Nashville 911 operators received a call on August 12th and heard a female, later identified as Maggie Rhodes, attempting to give an address in Antioch before a struggle ensued and she screamed “quit hitting me” as the line disconnected. Officers responded to the Antioch home, and she stated she had been arguing with her husband, 44-year-old Komlanvi Houssounoukpe, throughout the day, and he had punched her in the face several times. She explained he took her phone when she called 911, and he still had the phone in his possession when officers spoke to him. Officers documented several abrasions on the victim, including a swollen eye.

Regina Sullo kicked out of concert & charged with public intoxication in Nashville

36-year-old Regina Sullo was kicked out of a concert at Nissan Stadium on August 12th after APEX Security determined her to be too drunk and disorderly to abide by venue guidelines and she was causing a scene during the event. After she was escorted outside the stadium, she began to make her way back toward the entrance and attempted to re-enter the concert. She was stopped at the gate and denied re-admission, at which point she was taken into custody by Metro Nashville Police due to her level of intoxication. She reportedly reeked of alcohol, and her speech was slurred during interactions with officers. Sullo was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.

Robert Strieter kicked out of multiple downtown Nashville bars Thursday night

Metro Nashville Police working the Entertainment District Initiative Thursday night in downtown Nashville responded to the Mellow Mushroom on Broadway to find 33-year-old Robert Lee Strieter heavily intoxicated and unable to care for himself. Officers say he had been kicked out of several downtown bars throughout the night and was a danger and annoyance to himself and others. Strieter was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.

DA Glenn Funk is prosecuting Tara Basham with felony burglary after $250 Walmart theft

Metro Police say 41-year-old Tara Michelle Basham entered the Walmart on Hamilton Church Road and filled a cart with items on which she replaced the original barcode with printed 0.67 cent barcodes. She then used the self-checkout to scan and pay based on the much 0.67 cents per item. The retail cost of the items would have been $256.82, according to AmandaSims with Walmart loss prevention. Loss prevention initially detained Basham and notified the police, but since they did not respond in a timely manner (it was over 2 hours before officers arrived after the initial call for police assistance), they had already released her when officers arrived. It was discovered that Basham had been banned from Walmart for life in May of 2020 and again in December of 2020, so the officer obtained a warrant for felony burglary. She was booked on that warrant this week.

Edgar Lucero charged with public intoxication in downtown Nashville

Metro Nashville Police were dispatched to a disorderly person call at Demonbreun St & 2nd Ave S Wednesday night to find 27-year-old Edgar Lucero unsteady on his feet and visibly intoxicated. As they spoke to him, his words were slurred, and he reportedly reeked of alcohol. Due to his level of intoxication and inability to care for himself, Lucero was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

Drunk on a lemon drop, Yolanda Matthews causes wild scene at West End Hotel in Nashville

Just after 9 p.m. Wednesday, Vanderbilt University Police responded to the Nashville Marriott Vanderbilt on West End after a guest had reported hearing a domestic disturbance coming from an adjacent room. Hotel staff confirmed the yelling and screaming coming from a third-floor room, and officers spoke with the registered guest, 54-year-old Yolanda Matthews. She advised she and her husband had a verbal disagreement, and she was going to go back inside her room and drink the remainder of her lemon drop as her husband was already outside the hotel.

While police spoke to her husband, Yolanda came downstairs and was irate with hotel staff and patrons. She was advised to return to her room; instead, she turned to her husband and screamed, “You MuthaF**ka, you did this!” and threw herself onto the ground in front of officers. She was collected from the floor and transported to booking.

Cody Blake Jordan charged in strangulation of girlfriend who he accused of cheating

Chelsea Serritella says as she was coming home Tuesday, her boyfriend, 29-year-old Cody Blake Jordan, began to follow her around the block, and once she arrived, he approached her and grabbed her by the throat while accusing her of cheating on him. She told police she had difficulty breathing, and officers observed visible red marks on her throat consistent with strangulation. Jordan was taken into custody and transported to booking.

Michael Hodges charged after assaulting woman’s buttocks with a dog leash in madison hotel

Jessica Reeves says she was at the WoodSpring Suites near Rivergate hotel with 31-year-old Michael L Hodges Wednesday morning when he used a dog leash to whip her several times on her left buttock and slapped her in the face during an argument. Throughout the day and evening, she states he had been drinking alcohol and became more aggressive with her, and eventually pushed her onto the bed and attempted to strangle her. She attempted to flee, and he pushed her as she made her way to the lobby. The hotel room was tossed with furniture flipped over.

Hodges then reportedly went to Hendersonville, where he made threats to shoot people, and then found his way back down Gallatin Pike to the Walmart parking lot in Madison where police found him wearing all black clothing in a black pickup truck. He admitted he was in an argument with his girlfriend, Jessica, and was taken into custody.

Milos Petkovic jailed after fight at Twink Kegs II in Nashville

Metro Nashville Police responded to a report of a fight at Twin Kegs II near downtown Nashville and found 26-year-old Milos Petkovic across the street shirtless and with scrapes and cuts on his body. He reeked of alcohol and was slurring his speech. He stated he consumed two shots of Maker’s Mark and a Guinness beer at the bar. No one wanted to press assault charges, so officers offered to help him find a ride home due to his level of intoxication; however, Petkovic insisted he was not drunk and accused officers of having no dignity, no respect, and of insulting his family’s honor. He refused all offers of assistance to avoid jail and was eventually transported to booking.
