Alfred Trevor Webb breaks parking gate arm to exit garage without paying

32-year-old Alfred Trevor Webb was booked this week on an outstanding warrant, charging him with breaking an electronic parking gate arm in 2021, causing approximately $1,800 in damage. On August 26th, 2021, around 10:30 a.m. Alfred was observed in the parking garage on Rep. John Lewis Way getting out of his vehicle and lifting the electronic parking gate arm, breaking it, and causing $1,800 damage. He left later, having not paid for the parking, and all of the incident was observed on security footage. After the detective pulled the registration, they called the vehicle’s owner. They got ahold of a woman who said that she was only the cosigner and that the vehicle belonged to Alfred and his wife.

Brandon Covington charged with stealing his significant other’s vehicle

30-year-old Brandon Covington was taken into custody Friday night after a LPR near Trinity Lane and Brick Church Pike alerted to the car he was driving being listed as stolen. Police soon located the red Ford Fusion and followed it with the assistance of a THP helicopter. Covington was taken into custody. The NCIC hit detailed that the owner had lent the vehicle to Covington, who was their significant other, but he failed to return it. 

Amanda Hill charged with shoplifting from Target

35-year-old Amanda Hill was booked this week on a citation charging her with theft/shoplifting from Target. Police say on June 14, she entered the Target on White Bridge Pike, filled up a shopping cart with various items, and attempted to push it out the door without paying for any of the merchandise. She confessed to the theft when asked by officers.

Tourist Matthew Santellano jailed after failing to pay bill at Tootsie’s Bar in downtown Nashville

21-year-old Missouri tourist Matthew Santellano was at Tootsie’s Bar on Broadway in downtown Nashville Saturday night when security observed him taking drinks from the bar, which were freshly prepared for other patrons. As they were preparing to escort him out, he was asked to close out his tab, which totaled $188.99. Santellano provided two different forms of payment, each of which was declined. He then became threatening toward security and attempted to push his way past them to flee the bar. He was detained and held for Metro Nashville Police.

Mukda Hamar charged with bypassing self-checkout at Target

Police say 58-year-old Mukda Hamar gathered merchandise at a local Target store on May 9 and made her way to the self-checkout area, and evaded the scanner at the self-checkout for $61.49 with of merchandise. She then exited the store with no further effort to pay for the unpaid merchandise. She was identified and a warrant was issued for her arrest. Hamar, of Banbury Station in Brentwood, was booked on that warrant this week.

Cherree Jenkins attempts to evict disabled roommate with baseball bat

37-year-old Cherree Jenkins was jailed on June 27th after coming after her disabled roommate with a metal bat and stealing his TV. Police spoke with Horace Ewing, who said while he was away, Ms. Jenkins broke into his room and took the door off the hinges. When he returned home, he asked her where his door was, and she told him she had taken it off because he was being evicted. Horace stayed in his room and avoided Ms. Jenkins to prevent the situation from escalating. The next day while Horace was in his room, Ms. Jenkins entered holding a metal bat. She started swinging it around, telling Horace he had two hours to get his stuff and get out, and if he didn’t, she “had something for him.” He was afraid and remained in his room while Ms. Jenkins took all his clothes, bagged them, and threw them outside. Police told her that she couldn’t throw his belongings outside. While police spoke with him, Ms. Jenkins was inside, taking the TV out of his room and putting it in hers. Ms. Jenkins’ aunt is a partial owner of the home and rented a room to Horace. Officers spoke with Davidson County Sherriff’s office, who stated that no active eviction was on file.

Cherre Tubville charged with theft of shoes and jacket from Walmart

33-year-old Cherre Tubville was booked this week on a citation after shoplifting from Walmart on Dickerson Pike on January 30th, 2023. The loss prevention officers told police that Tubville walked in, picked out shoes and a jacket, and walked out of the store with them on her body without paying. The items were valued at $29.96. She was issued a citation at the time and never appeared to be booked.

Richard Davis indicted on charges of tax fraud, money laundering, and theft over $250K

58-year-old Richard Davis is free on a $25,000 bond after being booked on a Grand Jury Indictment this week in Nashville. The newly unsealed indictment consists of eight charges. Davis, who ran Music City Pipeworks, is alleged to have evaded paying taxes to the state, despite collecting the funds from customers during sales. He ran the Pipeworks under different LLCs, including MCPW Clarksville, MCPW Cool Springs, MCPW The Crossing, MCPW Smyrna, MCPW Melrose, and MCPW Hendersonville – each earning a separate count of tax fraud in the indictment.
