Julia O’Keefe jailed in Nashville, charged with theft of security camera

62-year-old Julia O’Keefe found herself in new silver bling Wednesday – a shiny pair of handcuffs. She was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail around lunch and charged with theft. Police say she went to the home of her niece, Lauren Robinson, on Sharon Hill Circle on June 11 and stole a security camera from the residence just before 8 p.m. Officers were able to review the cloud-stored footage from the device, which shows it being covered up and removed, and Julia’s voice on the audio. 

Michelle Osteen jailed on decade-old warrant for theft from Metro Nashville Schools

50-year-old Michelle Osteen was jailed this week on a decade-old warrant charging her with felony theft. Osteen, who was previously the office manager at Dupont-Hadley middle school in Nashville, resigned in April 2013 and refused to return a Dell laptop and an iPad which was assigned to her for her job. She received certified demand letters and revised to return the equipment, resulting in a warrant being issued for her arrest.

Dynasia Day jailed after road rage incident on interstate

20-year-old Dynasia Day faces multiple felony charges after a road rage incident on I-24 East Friday afternoon. A family in a GMC Acadia was traveling on the roadway when Day attempted to turn into their lane. The father honked his horn to alert Day, and in response, she sped up to get in front of the Acadia, then abruptly got back into her lane and swerved into the left lane with the Acadia three times. The third time, she hit the victim’s vehicle on the passenger side. The family was able to capture the license plate and positively identify Day via a lineup. 

Wesley Worthington jailed after boosting a $20 shirt from Dillard’s at Rivergate Mall

27-year-old Wesley Worthington was jailed on June 5th after shoplifting from Dillard’s at Rivergate Mall. Police spoke with loss prevention officers who said they saw Worthington take a yellow t-shirt into the bathroom and left without the t-shirt in hand. Worthington was stopped by the loss prevention officers and caught with a yellow Costa T-shirt concealed in his pants. The cost of the T-shirt was $20. He was taken into custody for the misdemeanor offense due to an outstanding warrant from Bedford County.

Allen Blake Phillips refuses to pay for services on his Sea-Doo; jailed on outstanding warrant

37-year-old Allen Phillips took his Sea-Doo to America’s Motor Sports in August 2022 and signed a release to have it diagnosed and serviced. He was called and notified of the repairs, and later that day came into the dealership with a visible gun tucked into his waistband and told an employee “I told them I wasn’t paying them… and I fucking meant it! He then took his Sea-Doo and left the dealership without paying his $497.84 bill for services rendered on the Sea-Doo. A warrant was issued for his arrest for theft of services, and he was booked on that warrant this week.

Jeffrey Acevedo: “I’m rebelling & it is in my favor to not pay” at The Palm Restaurant

55-year-old Jeffrey Acevedo was jailed on May 28th after police responded to a call of someone not paying their tab at The Palm Restaurant. Police spoke with the manager, who said Acevedo ordered $155.47 worth of food and didn’t pay. Acevedo told police he didn’t pay and didn’t believe he had to. He said, “I am rebelling, and it is in my favor to not pay.” Acevedo ordered multiple food items like steak, soda, and dessert. He admitted to police that he would continue the offense all around Nashville because he believes it is his right and said, “I think you should take me to jail.” Due to the likelihood of the offense continuing, Acevedo was taken into custody.

Chardarius Howse steals Louis Vuitton wallet & cash from patron at Game Terminal Bar in Nashville

23-year-old Chardarius Howse was booked this week for stealing a Louis Vuitton Wallet containing $720 cash on June 20th, 2022. The wallet belonged to Jamarkis Wess, who also had his driver’s license and car keys stolen while at the Game Terminal Bar. Video surveillance shows Howse taking the wallet from the game Wess was playing. To enter the Game Terminal Bar, all patrons must scan their IDs. The establishment was able to give police Howse’s information to verify his identity. A warrant was issued for his arrest shortly after, and he was jailed on the outstanding warrant this week.
