“Two beers” make another man too drunk for downtown Nashville — William Britt arrested

Metro Nasvhille Police say 23-year-old William Britt was leaning on a random car at 317 Broadway in downtown Nashville, and someone asked them to check on him. Upon arrival, officers found Britt to be extremely intoxicated, uneasy on his feet, and reeked of alcohol. He told the officer he only had two beers at Jason Aldean’s bar shortly before the interaction. He could not answer any questions about where he was going, where he was staying, and was without a phone, wallet, or transportation. He was transported to booking.

Man charged with DUI after leaving Play Dance Bar and crashing car — Bricen Bunt arrested

23-year-old Bricen Bunt told police he had just left Play Dance Bar, where he had drank a tequila shot, a Long Island Tea, and a vodka/Redbull, when he crashed his car into another vehicle on I-24 while driving to Murfreesboro in the early hours of Saturday morning. After performing poorly on field sobriety tests, Bunt blew a 0.134 % BAC on a breathalyzer. He is free on pre-trial release.

While locals may be oblivious, #VisitMusicCity tourists to Nashville have a longstanding #FindTheCowboy game in which they attempted to find a particular ‘cowboy’ who has been the center of sexy calendars, thousands of tourist photos, and is more locally known as the doorman at Layla’s in downtown Nashville. That cowboy is 46-year-old Benjamin Colby Barrett, and he was arrested in Nashville Friday night, charged with the felony aggravated assault of a former lover who has an active order of protection against him.

Drunk man charged after “cussing out a kid on the plane” — Thomas Hook arrested

Airport Police say k 28-year-old Tommy Hook was “cussing out a kid on the place” according to gate agents at Nashville International Airport. Hook was initially calm with officers but would sneak in an occasional “asshole” remark to the Southwest manager via a quick yell. He was removed from the plane so it could take off without him. When he realized he would not make the flight to Chicago that day, he started screaming expletives across the airport and became aggressive. He was taken into custody, despite his resistance, and transported to jail.

Teen jailed after kicking father when told to keep the noise down — Kaden Shepherd

18-year-old Kaden Shepherd was booked into the Metro Nasvhille Jail after his father, Shawn Shepherd, called police to report his son had “attacked him after telling him to keep the noise down”. Kaden had already fled the scene when officers arrived but his father explained he was trying to sleep and his son was on Zoom with several other teams and was being so loud that he could hear him in the other room. When he told him to keep it down, Kaden reportedly told him it was none of his business before eventually kicking his father in the shin several times.

Young Buck homeless? Nashville Police say yes.

Concerns were raised by some this week when Nashville Rapper David Brown, better known as Young Buck, was arrested and the homeless shelter was used as both his home address and his bond-out address on all the official police and jail paperwork. We spoke to Criminal Court Clerk Howard Gentry’s Office, who he had been photographed with days before his arrest, to see if he had been done a favor by the office, which they denied. We then spoke to Metro Nasvhille Police, who after consulting with their arresting officer, confirmed that Young Buck had nowhere to go other than his ex-girlfriend’s home, where he was no longer welcome, making him ‘homeless’ on all official records.

Woman stands up from toilet, punches husband in face, breaks glasses, per report — Tammy Sullivan

52-year-old Tammy Sullivan is charged with domestic assault after her husband, Kevin Sullivan, says she “stood up from the toiled and punched him in the eye”, breaking his glasses. The couple was reportedly in an argument and Tammy wanted to leave with some friends after she had been drinking and Kevin attempted to take her phone when the assault occurred.

Nashville Rapper Tazzo arrested in felony domestic violence case — Ronteze Bowden

32-year-old Ronteze Bowden, better known as Nashville rapper Tezzo, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Thursday on outstanding warrants from 2020 charging him with felony aggravated assault and interference with a 911 call. The warrants allege Bowden and his then-girlfriend, Erica Lillard, were in an argument about rent money when the assaulted her with a bottle of water, then wrapped his arms around her beck from behind causing her to be unable to breathe when he realized she was calling 911.

Trio charged after downtown Nashville brawl, including father & son from Alabama

Metro Police say a trio of folks were all fighting the streets of downtown Nashville last weekend, disrupting both traffic and citizens attempting to use the crosswalks. 18-year-old Brody Presnall, of Alabama, told officers 39-year-old David Castillo pushed him and called him names, and that’s why Brody pushed him back and punched him in the face and began to fight, despite officers giving multiple commands to stop. Brody’s father, 44-year-old Clint Presnall, also got involved when he observed his son getting pushed and engaged in the fight with his son against Castillo.
