Married tourists visit Nashville Jail while on vacation in Music City — Ralph & Rhiannon Martinez

Metro Nashville Police Officer Jaren Breece responded to a fight call at Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row on Broadway in downtown Nashville to find 44-year-old Rhiannon Martinez ending her fight with another patron, and he advised her to leave the property. She cursed toward the other involved party and began to leave but turned back around and continued to instigate the fight further. She was extremely intoxicated and unable to care for herself, so she was arrested for public intoxication and disorderly conduct. As she was being placed into custody, 51-year-old Ralph Martinez began to interfere with her arrest and was advised to stop. As he continued to interfere after being given chances to walk away, he was also placed into custody and charged with disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

Jacob Denton whipped out his fiddle and let it flow on Broadway in downtown Nashville

Metro Nashville Police working the Entertainment District Initiative in downtown Nashville say they observed 24-year-old Jacob Denton outside of Second Fiddle at 420 Broadway. Denton reportedly was having trouble maintaining his balance due to his level of drunkenness, but was able to unzip his pants and expose his own instrument while urinating on the sidewalk as many patrons of Second Fiddle took note of the performance. Denton was charged with public indecency and public intoxication.

Caleb Pitts burglarizes Jason Aldean’s Bar for a hoodie & runs from police

21-year-old Caleb Pitts faces multiple charges, including felony burglary, after police say he stole a hoodie from the retail portion of Jason Aldean’s bar and fled from them. Offices first responded to the Broadway bar as Pitts was fighting with security, who had observed him pull on a locked door until it broke open and take a grey hoodie from the merchandise area of the venue. Pitts, who was visibly intoxicated, pulled away from officers as they arrived but was captured after a brief foot chase.

Cameo Hamm charged in East Nashville DUI, says she had ‘Verizon’ to drink

Metro Nashville Police were dispatched to the intersection of Woodland Street and S. 14th St. in East Nashville, where they located 22-year-old Cameo Hamm seemingly passed out behind the wheel with the keys in the vehicle and her foot on the brake. Upon making contact, officers asked Hamm if she had anything to drink tonight, and she kept repeating, “Verizon.” Though most of her sentences were incoherent, police say she did admit to drinking alcohol prior to driving. She performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was charged with DUI.

Las Vegas man pushes officer, resists arrest, at Jason Aldean’s Bar — John Purciful arrested

Metro Nashville Police were responding to a fight at Jason Aldean’s bar in downtown Nashville. As officers were attempting to separate involved parties, 42-year-old John Elliot Purciful of Las Vegas began to interrupt and interfere with officers taking one of the parties into custody. He was pushing his way into the officer’s workspace and refused guided attempts at moving out of the way. Purciful eventually pushed an officer and resisted when officers attempted to detain him.

Anna Curp charged in wild assault of roommate as she breaks through his bedroom door

Roommates Cody Sandford and 24-year-old Anna Curp were in an argument at their Bell Road apartment when Sandford went to his room in order to de-escalate the situation, locking his bedroom and bathroom door to prevent her from gaining any access to continue the argument. As she began to beat on his door, he further pushed furniture in front of it to reinforce it, but she still managed to smash it open and began to crawl into the small space she had forced open. He attempted to push her out when she kicked him in the head.

Brent Harris punches girlfriend in downtown argument about which bar is next

25-year-old Brent Chandler Harris was observed punching his girlfriend, Kendall Baker, in the back of the head by an officer working traffic control at 4th & Broadway in downtown Nashville. The victim told police the two were arguing about which bar they were going to next, and she disagreed with him, so he punched her. Harris admitted to the assault and was taken into custody with a twelve-hour hold, leaving Baker to go to any bar she wanted without anyone disagreeing.

Joquesha Crawford slaps lover after he tells her how he feels about her while in bed

23-year-old Joquesha Crawford says she was lying in bed with the father of her child, Floyd Zunk, and slapped him in the face when he called her a “weak *ss b*-ch” just before 7 a.m. Tuesday. Police arrived and spoke with both parties. Zunk says it was an argument that was escalating when she slapped him. She was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault.

Tarrell Grant charged in bloody assault of girlfriend, told police “nothing happened”

Witnesses called police after observing Sydney Medders running through a Nashville apartment complex screaming for help while being kicked by her boyfriend, 25-year-old Tarrell Grant. She was able to hide in a neighbor’s apartment until officers arrived at the scene. Officers found her with multiple injuries, including a bloody nose where she had been pushed into a wall, abrasions, and blood on her shirt. She did not want to prosecute for the domestic violence, and Grant told police “nothing happened.” Due to the circumstances, the relationship, and the history of domestic violence, officers prosecuted on her behalf and took Tarrell Grant into custody.
