BUI: Kristie Crabtree grabs joint from officer & tosses it into lake “oh, that’s just a little thing!”

When 48-year-old Kristie Crabtree was stopped on her jet skit just outside of the party cove area of Percy Priest Lake Saturday for not having her registration number property displayed, she retrieved her registration from her dry box, which also contained several other items. TWRA Officer Joshua Landrum says he could smell marijuana coming from the box, and asked her to hand it to him, which she did. As the officer observed a blunt in the box, he asked her how much she had smoked that day. In response, Crabtree immediately grabbed the small mostly smoked blunt and tossed it into the water, destroying the evidence — while stating “oh, that’s just a little thing!” Crabtree admitted to smoking every morning when she wakes up and that she had alcohol she was currently drinking while operating the jet ski.

Pineville Predators: Three indicted in kidnapping, rape, & assault of a runaway juvenile in Nashville

Police say three high school friends who moved from Louisiana to Nashville after they graduated Pineville High School in 2020, participated in the assault and rape of a 16-year-old runaway who was staying with them at their Priest Lake apartment. A newly unsealed Grand Jury indictment charges 20-year-old Albert “Riley” Roberts IV with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, especially aggravated kidnapping, and reckless endangerment. Roberts was taken into custody Thursday and is free on a $100,000 bond. His co-defendants, 20-year-old Ashton Ivy Cannon, and 20-year-old Edsaviour Ricshaun Groves, both have outstanding warrants for their arrests. Cannon is charged with rape, aggravated rape, and kidnapping. Groves is charged with rape, aggravated rape, and solicitation of a minor.

DUI: Ariel Thomas says she took Percocet & swigs from Paul Masson whiskey bottle

23-year-old Ariel Thomas was stopped for speeding and during the interaction with an officer, she admitted to “drinking a swig” from an open bottle of Paul Masson Whiskey, which she was carrying in a pouch on her shirt, and taking a Percocet. A second empty bottle of whiskey was also in the vehicle, along with other various open containers of alcohol. Also found in the vehicle was a small amount of marijuana and a loaded Taurus pistol. What wasn’t found was a valid license to drive, as she currently didn’t have one issued to her.

Jamesha Grady smashes ex-lover’s F-150 windshield with hot sauce bottle from balcony

29-year-old Jamesha Grady is charged with vandalism after she threw a bottle of hot sauce at her former lover’s truck on June 2nd. The former “intimate partners” had been in a verbal argument after which Carlos Harp decided to leave the situation and attempted to drive away. Grady, who was standing on the balcony of the residence, gave her best baseball toss of a hot sauce bottle onto the windshield, cracking the glass and covering it with red-hot sauce, according to police.

Austin McFarlin charged with assault of lover who claimed to have slept with his best friend

18-year-old Austin Mcfarlin was arrested and charged with domestic vandalism this week after his girlfriend, Aria Smith, told him she had sex with his best friend and says Austin then threw her phone on the ground at her feet, damaging it. She says he also punched a hole in the wall of her apartment. Metro Police say his girlfriend Aria Smith’s actual name is Seth Smith, per court documents.

DUI: Shamika Jones puffed, puffed, passed, and crashed.

When 39-year-old Shamika Jones crossed into oncoming traffic in an attempt to pass a car and had a head-on collision Wednesday afternoon on Lebanon Pike, she was still smoking a joint when officers arrived on the scene. She reported she had also smoked a bit earlier in the day, on her way to work. She said the last thing she remembered before the crash was leaving her workplace, the Whole Foods in downtown Nashville, and then being in a crash. Inside her car was 1.2 grams of marijuana and a SMC-380 pistol under the driver’s seat. She claimed to have a felony conviction out of California, but officers were unable to locate any such charge.

DUI: Jordan Cunningham charged after 2 a.m. East Nashville crash

Metro Police were dispatched to an accident just before 2 a.m. Thursday at 1111 Gallatin Ave, where they found 24-year-old Jordan Cunningham unsteady on her feet and swaying back and forth. She had rear-ended another vehicle, causing injuries. Police say she reeked of alcohol and stated she had “one drink at work” before she left at 11 p.m. She performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was transported to booking after submitting to a blood test at Metro General.
