30-year-old James Harrison was deemed to be extremely intoxicated when he whipped it out in the middle of a downtown Nashville parking lot and began to pee in public in front of officers and others. As police made contact he was unsteady on his feet and showed an inability to care for himself. He was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.

19-year-old Laricya Green was jailed this week on an outstanding warranting charging her with vandalism. MDHA cameras captured her walking up to the vehicle of Anyika Hawkins and shattering the rear window. The victim and the defendant both have children with the same man and do not have a good relationship with each other.
Clarksville vice-principal Garry Chadwell forced teen to penetrate him sexually, per rape indictment
49-year-old Kenwood High School Assistant Principal & Athletic Director Garry James Chadwell was jailed Tuesday evening, charged with forcing a 17-year-old to penetrate him sexually. The indictment, a copy of which is in the story, alleges one count of forcing the child to penetrate him without the child’s consent, and another count of adding the statutory rape charge. The incident occurred on January 22, 2022.
Timothy Swanson charged with felony after brandishing fake/toy gun in traffic Friday morning
21-year-old Timothy Swanson is charged with felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after he displayed what appeared to be a handgun at Michael Larson in traffic on Elm Hill Pike at around 6:30 a.m. Friday. Larson was placed in fear when the man rolled down his window and brandished the weapon alongside him. He observed Larson then park at the Walgreen’s parking lot and place an item in his trunk. Police arrived and made contact with Swanson and located the weapon in the trunk – it turned out to be a toy/prop/fake gun.
DUI: Eshaundra Patton found asleep behind wheel on interstate ramp after drinking at House of Legends
22-year-old Eshaundra Patton says she drank Casamigos tequila at House of Legends Bar on Jefferson Street before police found her passed out asleep behind the wheel of her vehicle in the middle of an interstate ramp early Saturday morning. She performed poorly on field sobriety tests and stated she only ate a few bites of a Philly cheesesteak egg roll with all of her liquor. She’s charged with DUI.
Amber Coe charging with slashing tires and shooting through front door of Ayonna Brown’s home
19-year-old Amber Coe is charged with felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and vandalism after reportedly slashing the tires of Ayonna Brown and then approaching her front door with a handgun. She then shot through the front door as the victim hid in a nearby closet after she observed her through the peephole. The bullet traveled through the front door and through two interior walls of the apartment.
Austin Fowler charged with public intoxication while walking to a downtown bar
27-year-old Austin Fowler was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Saturday night after police found him heavily intoxicated and walking on the right shoulder of I-24W just before the 2nd Ave S. exit. He was reportedly stumbling and smelled strongly of alcohol. He told police he was simply trying to walk to a bar. Fowler was jailed for public intoxication.
California man destroys wife’s iPhone, claims she took photo of another man at downtown Nashville Bar — William Hawkins
While in town from California, Jennifer Hawkins called police to report that while she and her husband, 40-year-old William Hawkins, were out at a bar on Broadway she took a photo of a person with her iPhone, resulting in him grabbing her phone and smashing it on the ground, destroying it. She says she was taking a photo of her husband, however, he believes she was taking a photo of another man. Officer Gault transported the wife to a nearby Apple store so she could purchase a new phone, and Officer Hill took Hawkins into custody, charging him with felony vandalism with a domestic violence rider, invoking the state-manded 12-hour hold before his release.
Georgia man charged with carrying handgun while drunk at Tootsie’s in downtown Nashville— Jeremy Evans
28-year-old Georgia tourist Jeremy Thomas Evans was being drunk and disorderly at Tootsie’s Bar in downtown Nashville when he came to the attention of the venue security staff. As they interacted with him they realized he was carrying a handgun, and they took his weapon from him and called police. Officers arrived and transported Evans to booking, charging him with possession of a handgun while under the influence.
Christopher Riccio charged after brawl on Broadway in downtown Nashville
Metro Nashville Police responded to Rippy’s Honky Tonk on Broadway in downtown Nashville just before midnight Saturday to a fight call. They found a beaten 31-year-old Christopher Riccio who did not want to press charges on the other person involved. He refused any medical treatment, but due to his extreme level of intoxication and inability to care for himself, he was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.
